Calling all creative minds on the Dis..Help needed for surprise

I am planning on having a private dining for my parents 25th wedding anniversary for my September trip, the problem is getting them to the GF alone without telling them what we're doing. I know I'm not asking for a design but I thought all of you creative DISers could help me come up with something without blowing it.

Why don't you act like you're going to explore around the other resorts because they are so beautiful.Say you're staring with the GF.

How about saying you're going over there for tea? I like the explore the resort idea too.

We always do a monorail tour of the three resorts if we are not staying at one of them. If that is not something you normally do, maybe you could say you had read about it here and thought it would be a fun thing to try. You could start out at the Contemporary and by the time you get to the GF they ought to be none the wiser!

I thought about that but the problem is that the butler is meeting them in the lobby at 7:30, and the rest of us wanted to be at the MK for Spectro. How would we explain leaving them there AND securing a spot for spectro? I'm going with newbies LOL which makes it harder. It's not even like I could have someone secure the spot for me. I am really just lost and don't know what to do. Besides, we are travelling with a 5 y/o and she is going to be anxious to hit the parks, the last thing she will want to do is visit resorts and my parents will back her up on that wondering why I'm wasting time with that when they're only there for an extended weekend and they came to see Mickey..
