Calling all contemporary experts-

I know that requests are just that and may not be honored but I have a few questions-
I have read that people fax in requests a few days before..?? What is the fax nimber and when do you make these requests?

I have a SOG room. Can I make a request and what should it be? Are there better rooms in the wing? (Just me and hubby)

Can I use my refillable at the coffee bar? Is that better coffee than the rest?

Any other tips would be appreciated. Thank you!

We were there in October for the SoG North wing area and loved it. I had requested a room close to the main building but opted for the farthest out when given the option for a room early or wait til later in the day to get into a room...we got there at 11:30 am. I would go for the room closest to the main building if I had it all to do again. The walk was long............up side was that even with all the food we ate that week I lost wieght .........most likely the hike. I had put the request for the close room in as an add on to our reservations with SoG people and never faxed to restate it. The coffee is very very thick where every you get it on the property. Not at all good for us. We used 10 creamers and 3 sugars and normally would use 4 to 1 ratio. Have fun where ever you get a room and the walk to MK is easy and really neat.

If it were just me and hubby I would probably request a room far out, close to the water and facing so you can watch the electrical light parade (if that is possible?). You could take some walks on the beaches and they would probably be quieter. I love to walk though and we never use the food court, always grab something to eat in the parks.

We are going to the CR through SoG next month, and you simply let SoG know of your room requests- no need to fax anything to the Contemporary a few days before your arrival (I specifically asked them that question). We requested connecting rooms, as we're traveling with the in-laws, and also rooms close to the main building, as there are 4 young children in our group. HTH!

Is it possible to request a room facing the MK in order to see the fireworks from the room at night?
