Hi friends
We are so busy, but I'm actually kinda lovin it - weird I know
Yesterday was Katie's first scrimmage game, and it was such an eye opener for the girls, and for us first time coaches. I was under the impression that this was still going to be a warm and fuzzy experience, but this is serious stuff

. So we all need to kick it up a notch for Saturday's first game, and take things more seiously. Katie is excited - she is our starting pitcher. Never did I think she was pitcher material, but she's very good at it

Now I just wish that the Saturday weather would change - it's not going to be a great day for a ballgame
Stephanie is doing awesome at soccer, and has a game tonight - Brrr!!!!! She is also our assistant to the assistant coach for softball, and has a new title as of yesterday - DUGOUT MANAGER

She's going to be in charge of the girls under control (behavior wise), get the next batter to the batters box, take someone to the bathroom, and etc. She seems pretty excited about her title
Nothing much else going on - no time for it

I'm back in a big knee brace, which doesn't make me to happy, but that's life - I'm always in a brace for something - knee, foot, hand, elbow, and pretty soon a mouth guard at night - it's crazy!!!!
lthiesfeld07 and katwisc - WELCOME!!!!!

Crissup gave some great suggestions
Crissup - I hope those dramas get better soon for you

They have a way of really bringing life down

*Have a wonderful time on your cruise!!!!

*Tearing that Planta Fascia was a horrible experience. When it snapped, I could hear it, I could feel it - it made my knees buckle

. Within an hour the pain was so intense that I could barely put weight on it - not good for someone that works on their feet for a living

To make a long story short - my doctor tried many things, but finally 9 months later he said surgery was the only way to go. So on Dec 28, 2011 I had the surgery - he went in and completely severed the planta fascia for it to grow back and connect to scar tissue to lengthen it. Then I was in a boot until the end of April - I even had to sleep in it - it was terrible. The surgery worked about 50%, and I still have pain, but nothing like I did. After I tore it the pain was a 9/10. When I was healing the paing was a 7/8, and now the pain is 3-5 (depending on the day and activity level). It's been a long road
rmom - My husband is my one and only too

I dated my husband for 7 years before we married, and we'll be married 17 years this June, plus he's the only guy I dated. People are always so stunned when I tell them that
