Hi everyone!
So, I'm thinking maybe I can spin the Fort Wilderness thing in my favor. If they want cabins, fishing and horses....well, there you go! Hmmm..

Right now, we're fighting with the sewer line (whoopee). We called Roto-Rooter for a regular maintenance visit to clean our line. We've flooded before and they suggested we do this regularly to prevent it from happening again. So anyway, they were here yesterday and announced that they couldn't clean because one of the pipes seems to have disappeared
It corroded with age and fell down. So now they're here again to clean and assess the damage. Oy vey...

And of course, with spring break right now, I've got 3 little people to entertain while this is going on, all while preparing for Passover where we're expecting 20 for dinner both Monday night and Tuesday night. What's that saying? Man plans and G-d laughs - no kidding!

Went to see Rocky Horror Picture Show with DD and a friend of her's and our's Princess Chell. (by the way, great to meet you.Princess chell) What an experience. That show was different. The girls had a great time though from what I could see. Now I am having a hard time winding down and falling asleep since DH is snoring his head off.

Sooner or later I will be too tired to care and will just pass out.

Hi everyone!

I swore I was going to be here regularly, and now it's been almost two months since I was here!

Nothing much has been going on with me, except that my little skater won the Olympics! I don't know if I've mentioned him on here before. I think maybe I have. Evan Lysacek. He's from Naperville, and I've been a fan of his for other 10 years. I'm so proud of him! I took Friday off for Evan Lysacek Day and went to the rally and reception they had. I got to congratulate him and his parents. And now he's on DWTS (vote vote vote! )

Other than that, nothing major. No more car accidents. I did just plan a WDW trip the other day. May 19-24, at POFQ. I've never stayed at FQ before. (Wanted to do the Poly, but I just couldn't justify the $$. Maybe the next trip.) This trip is mainly to do the Backstage Magic tour. I've always wanted to do that one, the Big One. So I'm doing that on May 20, while my feet are fresh, and then spending a few days in the parks. I need to set up a new ticker!

I'll try to actually be around more. I miss you guys!

Hi Everyone! sooooooo.... WE OFFICIALLY OWN A HOME!!!! we had our closing this morning and we take posession at 3pm. I'm going to go run some errands, get myself a broom and dustpan, a water filter for the faucet, and a step stool. Then I'm heading over there to start cleaning. I have a dentist appointment at 4 so I'll be going back after that. Mike has ATT&T set up to come out tomorrow to hook up the Uverse and internet. AHHHHHHHHH I'M SO EXCITED!!! Oh and our new bed gets delivered Saturday! oh, and we leave 2 weeks from today! Wow, the time is going to fly by. I know it already! Sorry, I was just really excited and wanted to share!

Leigh, Have fun on the tour. We were thinking of doing the Backstage Magic one but decided to do the Keys to the Kingdom one instead. Maybe next time we will do that one! I can't wait to read your review.... you are going to give us a review right?!?!?

omg, and how could i forget this! So mike saw an open casting call for a DVC show they are doing. It will be a half hour show that will air on the travel channel, HGTV, ABCfamily, and/or the Disney channel. They were looking for 4 families traveling in March, April or May, one being a 'young couple planning their wedding at a DVC property'. Well, our wedding isn't on DVC property but it's at disney and we are staying at BLT for our first DVC trip this month. Well, the casting lady contacted Mike chatted for a little while asked for more pics and possibly a second interview. So we sent them off on Tuesday, heard back from her yesterday saying she thinks she has everything she needs for now and if not will be in contact. Well, we received ANOTHER email today requesting more recent pics, specifically with my hair down. So we will see what happens. I'm not holding my breath but I still think it's cool she's interested!

Hi all!
Haven't been here in ages!
Want to wish everyone here on the Chicago board an early Happy Easter!!

Been busy with alot of stuff with my kids. Chrissy and Matthew are turning 13 on Easter! I really don't know where the time has gone
They are both in 7th grade, in jr. high. I'm in a season of life right now where it's been busy. My DD Chrissy going thru puberty ,etc. Lots of different challenges in jr. high. DS Matthew is doing extremely well in school! He is still in school band and Boy Scouts.

Almost forgot to mention, my DD Chrissy is going have heart surgery in August. Last heart surgery she had was at 18 months old. I'm sure she will do fine with her surgery, she is feisty

Hey everyone! I hope everyone had a good Easter! I had to work through part of it (noon to 5:20) so I missed eating with my family. We did get time and a half but it was still a little disappointing, especially because this will probably be my last Easter home for a while. I worked a ton this week because I was on spring break, something like 65 hours when it's all said and done. No overtime but a normal week is split in two because of how Jamba weeks run (Wednesday to Tuesday?). So that was entire spring break. Heading to Boston next weekend. Oh and Rocky Horror Picture Show was soooooo much fun! It was great to finally meet you guys too

hi everyone. just popping in. Trip to Carrier Mills was great. We all love the area. Was wonderful seeing my cousin and Aunt again. Also got to meet my cousin's son's baby boy, Jay. He is so cute. Kyle (my cousin, Trudy's son) is getting married to Jay's mother at the end of June. I highly doubt we will be able to go. Who knows maybe our house will sell and we will be there.

We did see one house all three of us were interested in which I have to admit is nicer than ours and well over half the price of ours. Sure would be nice if it was still available when we are ready to sell and have a bid on our house. It is down the road from my aunt and three blocks from my cousin, Trudy.

We went to church on Good Friday with my cousin, her DH and my aunt. It is a lovely small church and the pastor is an excellent speaker. Have to admit he has a long way to go with his people skills though. No doubt he will get better.

Sure hope all goes well and quickly so we can sell this house and move. The change will do us all good. Hope everyone had a great Easter. Ours was a quiet one here at home since my dad as usual canceled on us. Wish I could figure out what is going on there. He claims he wants to see us/me and yet constantly cancels on us. It has been at least 6 months or better since we have seen him.

Now he says we will get together for father's day. Won't be surprised if I get a phone call stating something else came up and don't come. As I told him we may or may not still be around so we will have to wait and see. That statement did not seem to phase him. Oh well.

This year was my first time cooking Easter dinner. I think it went ok. Everyone said they liked it....

This weather is so yucky today. Yesterday I was wearing shorts and a t-shirt and today back to sweaters and turning the heat on in my car....

Well, should get back to work. Have a great week
