Morning all!
Slo, I will most definately keep your family in my thoughts and prayers. I know how hard this will be for your family since I am going through the same thing with my mom.
At least you don't have the added worry that he is alone right now. We are really trying to convince my mom to move to an assisted living facility. She still has enough of her own mind to want to stay in her house. She also is caring for an old cat that needs shots for his diabetes. We are sort of waiting until she no longer has the cat before insisting she move. She loves her kitty. At least she doesn't feel the need to leave home in the winter, and we make sure she has her groceries and banking needs met, but it is getting harder. It is hard for my kids to understand that they can't just go spend the day with Grandma. Especially for DD. She used to spend hours with my mom every week just sewing, talking, and doing nothing. I am just afraid to leave her there with my mom alone. She gets very short-tempered easily now, and her ability to do anything that requires short-term memory is not good. To me, this is the worst way to spend your retirement years. I would rather drop dead of a heart attack than slowly lose my mind.
Paint, I sure hope you don't have to pay another plumber again. Hopefully, the other one will step up and admit they didn't fix it right the first time.
bookswin, I do believe I have seen that Camry before, but it is not me (unfortunately). DH is a Disney Scrooge McDuck! So we will never own DVC in his lifetime.
Well, I had better get to vacuuming. I need to get that done and then get to the stores today. The fridge/freezer is so bare, I could clean it top to bottom without needing to empty it much first.
Later all.
