i used to think it was a great way to keep in shape as many times a day i would go up and down each level of stairs.....but........
with my knee/leg issues, i am not finding all the stairs as much fun as i used to.

It's the start of another week!
I woke up at 3:30am to use the washroom, and I couldn't go back to sleep, because my mind was racing with all the things I need to do this week - I hate it when that happens!!!!


Have any of you heard, or have, the Wii game called Disney's Think Fast? We got it for Christmas from a friend, and it is so much fun - the girls and I have been having a blast with it. If you have a Wii, I would highly recommend this game

Mac - I love love love my house (it was a love at first sight thing the minute I walked into it). When my knee problems were at their worst, the stairs were difficult, but it's better now. What I love about our house, is that everyone can spread out and not be on top of each other, but at the same time, still be close (that sounds weird, but I'm sure you know what I mean).

Morning.. regualr train was canceled, and so I took the next train and it was supposed to be an express but it became a local.. oh well that is public transport and winter.. at least i got on a train..

SLO - no .. oh well the good news is that you'll have a nice new machine

well yesterday I booked a WDW trip for the end of July after summer school and before band camp and taking Geoff to college.... military tickets and rate was just too good to pass up. Dh is going to the base at Great Lakes to get the tickets for us.. Eric is taking a friend as Geoff will be working at the Boy Scout camp all summer..

So when I was talking to DH about it before I made all the arrangements, he said that we would take longer to drive this time as he is not able to drive as much as he has in the past.. I said ok.. but Eric can drive some too.. .. he turned pale at that thought..

So, I wonder how much snow today will bring.

Went to visit my in-laws yesterday (had to deliver Girl Scout cookies) and it was an OK trip. Best part? We stopped at the Target in La Salle/Peru and managed to snag a Wii.

Slo ~ My boys each had two sets of tubes, Lauren (knock on wood) has been lucky with just the first set so far. When will her surgery be? * read back to what you posted to Rose, and wow! That seems weird. Have they said how often that happens?

DG ~ Sorry you were not able to see the movie, but good for you to say you will go by yourself.

Happy Monday Everyone! I thought it was supposed to get super cold today, so I made sure I bundled up really well! I was so proud of myself for thinking ahead and being warm while I waited for the train. Then I over hear someone say it's not supposed to be crazy cold until Thursday!!! maybe I need to recheck that weather forecast!

Slo ~ I love Anne Hatheway, too, and Kate Hudson! I've been looking forward to seeing it since they were filming! I have a Wii and never seen this Disney game you speak of!!! Do you need two players or can I play by myself?

ETA ~ There also looks to be a Blizzard Watch in affect from midnight tonight until 9am on Tuesday. This is due to the winds that will be coming in. Yikes!!

Slo - bummer about Stephanie's surgery. I will say an extra prayer for her and your family.

Donna - condolences to Mark and your entire family on the passing of his sister.

DG - I saw the previews for Bride Wars over Christmas. It looked funny. I hope you get to see it next weekend and can report back.

Geffric - Congrats on planning the Disney trip. Yes, the thought of a son driving would make me pale, too. Have funn planning!

I don't normally make this many ADR's but since we are taking the inlaws I thought maybe I should be a little more organized.

Morning all. Geering up for a busy week here! Today is my only rest/relax/clean up the house a bit day. Work for a bit tomorrow, Mom to MD on Wed, help at school Thurs and then DD rehearsal for , and Fri, Sat Sun days. I will be glad when it's over.

geffric, congrats on planning your trip! I love the planning. It's half the fun.

Slo, sorry to hear Steph has to have surgery again. I sure hope it is simple and as pain limited as possible for her.
So sad about your I always hope mine will crash at least after a spin cycle. Would hate soggy clothes to be removed.
about your NIPSCO bill. I would Our electric bill was $105. Scared to see the gass bill though. I turned up the heat often in Dec. since it was always seeming so cold and damp.
We have Disney Think Fast. We love it! I have to say, DD has beaten me several times on this one since it has more new shows (and I have a slow, old brain). I stomp her in SceneIt. Should I or is that in bad taste to love to beat your children playing a game?

Mac, snowing by you today? We had some light flurries earlier but nothing now. I am hopeful the blizzard watch stays just that and nothing materializes from it.

piglet, please no more reminders of the fact that we live in the frozen trundra! I keep hoping to wake up and find it is all a horrible nightmare!

TTTTTTTiiiiiiiiiiigern - Yeah, my NIPSCO bill gave me heart palpatations Kevin and his dad worked on the thermostat Sunday, and we are hoping that will help. If not, than they'll need to think of something else. These high bills are crazy!!!!

Morning.. we got about 2 inches last night and a dusting this am.. I sent the boys out to shovel last night as they wanted/needed a break from studying for finals.. so the driveway was clear when i got up extra early to shovel..

SLO - yep.. last year we went for a long weekend once the boys were done with finals .. they have a 4 day weekend.. but not this year.. the chorus was down there last so the boys were all for going and showing the girls around WDW..

Tiggerrn2 i am very afraid of the gas bill too.. even though I have been turning down the temp.. It amazes me that all the prices and costs and everything are going up and income is not..

We got what looks like 2 inches out there, hard to tell now that the winds have moved it all over. The younger two have a normal day, while Kevin had a planned "delayed start" today.

We bought Animal Crossings last night, that is my favorite game. Hopefully it will get hooked up today so we can play.

Good Morning Everyone! I'm super excited b/c we just received a contract to sign for the photographer we really want to do the wedding! I know we are quite a ways out still, but I feared that if we didn't get the ball rolling now, I'd 1)not be able to book with her b/c someone else grabbed her first, 2) go crazy with making deposits on everything at once!! This way we get to spread everything out! I'm very excited!

Slo ~ I'm going to have to look into that game! It sounds like a lot of fun! I'm sure my sister Jen would play with me! She's the sis with the 2 boys and also a disney fanatic!!
