Sorry I didn't check in this morning.
I woke up a little before Stephanie, and I didn't have a chance to post
(I didn't feel well yesterday, so I let myself sleep in some today - I feel much better now)

Life has been active - with working until 7pm all the time it's going to be:rolleyes:
Yesterday I made dinner ahead of time, so Kevin just had to put it into the over - it worked out great:thumbsup2 I need to find some more receipes that I can do that with.
With it being cooler out, it's now crockpot season at my house. I love having dinner done when I come home:goodvibes

I'm busy at work today, because I'm trying to play catch-up from not doing much yesterday, so unfortunately, I have to make this short and sweet :teeth:

DMM - I'm glad you had fun at the museum

paint - I hope your space bar gets better soon. My + on my calculator is doint that too - so annoying!!!

DG - Love love love the photo of your puppy (I always call dogs puppies irregardless of age)!!!!

HERSEY - I'm not ready to let summer go either. The stairs are out of the pool, and the cover is going on Saturday, so I guess I don't have a choice but to let it go.

Bunchkin - I hope the kids enjoy their karate class

ID - I"m glad the teachers are being cooperative about vacation.

Tiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiigernn - Have you trick or treated through Frontierland and Adventureland? Is it better or worse than Tommorland? We did the Tommorowland side last time, and I"m wondering if we should change.

Well, I"m off to finish my lunch and stare out the window a little.
The build-out has started for the dentist office next to me, and I forsee it being a nighmare. A HUGE dumpster is currently being delivered and it's taking up 4 parking spots - we barely have enough parking here now!!!!

Later gaters!!!

Yes! ours is going right now with beef stew! I love it!
Have you checked out the croc pot thread on the Dis Cooking Community board?? I love it!

Good Friday Morning Everyone! :flower3: usually i don't sign on until i get to work but i had to make a bid on ebay and thought i stop by here!

Slo ~ hopefully, you can find some time to relax. i love the crockpot. it's kind of hard to mess anything up (which is good for me)

Well I got to go make my lunch and what not so i don't miss my train. Have a wonderful day everyone!

:surfweb:
Another day of sleeping in a little - Kevin doesn't have to leave as early, and it's raining outside. I just couldn't drag myself out of bed:sad2: I'm trying to not force myself to workout, because then I know I won't stick to it. I"m trying to keep working out something I ENJOY to do, not something I HAVE to do.

DMM - No I haven't and thanks for tipping me on that. I will check it out while I'm eating my lunch today:thumbsup2 . I would love some good, homemade, crockpot receipes. I have a crockpot cookbook, but all the receipes in it, are things that none of us would like.

DG - Thanks! I"m planning on doing some of that relaxing on Sunday. Kevin is going to be at a race all day, so it'll just me and the girls. So, I'm hoping to rent some movies and veg in front of the tv all day:thumbsup2 (it's suppossed to rainy).

Well, I gotta go get Steph up for school:teacher:
Have a good day!!!

Morning everyone. You are welcome Sandy!

Hope you all have a great weekend! We're just having the carpets steamed in the main traffic areas. We did the entire house in July and it's amazing what the rainy season does to the carpets :sad2: even when you say NO SHOES in the house! hahha!! Not to mention Romans party is next month. Can you believe my baby is going to be 1????

Anyone doing Disney in January? We're booked for then!

Happy Rainy Friday everyone! Let me tell you...and some of you know...housebreaking a pup in the rain is no fun at all! I did, howevr, teach him to sit on command already! He has been playing with our older dog so much that our older one has been limping! I think he is getting arthritis, as he will occassionally limp.
id-I love Jack Russels but have heard they are high maintenance. What was your experience?
dgal- Westies were another breed we thought about, but decided to go with what we know- Shelties!
bunchkin- How was the pedi? I like to get that stuff done at the beauty school- cheap and they can't really mess it up. My dsis is in beauty school in your area(almost done). Let me know if you'd like to check it out- I'll give you her name. That goes for any other ladies here, too.
dmm-After we housebreak the pup, we are pulling back our carpets and refinishing our hardwood. We have a really old house, so it is under there, just not in great shape now, though.
slo- Enjoy your relaxing day. I need one! I am infor a fun yet busy weekend. Tell you all about it when I return- a ds and mom bonding experience- outdoor- in the rain. Oh boy...
tig- You are on top of things. I haven't even ordered my wedding photos yet. I used to scrap but now I'll be lucky to get them into an album!

Okay. Time to be productive!

Such a great idea! I would love to put some in too!

Todays walk was foiled halfway through!?! Gabriel was stung by a bee :sad2: I was freaking out since none of them had ever been stung before. Argg...He's doing well now and I got the stinger out, but I will admit to going to Sals work instead of heading straight home! haha!! (He works across the street)

**T.G.I.F.** Yeah it is finally Friday!! Kids were really dragging today, I think school/homework/activities are taking their toll. I know they're looking forward to the weekend.

I got one set of t-shirts done for the girls yesterday. It was pretty easy, I was suprised. I'm going to run out to Hobby Lobby to get some rhinestones or something to add some "bling". Boy was it hard to keep them a secret yesterday, I was DYING to show them off. DH just smiled and said "they're nice".

Tiggerrn - thanks so much for the MNSSHP tips. We've been to MVMCP many times and I'm a TGMer so I'm hoping that will help us acomplish the most during the party. I CAN'T wait!!

disneygal - that's a drag that you have to work both Eves, hope your boss lets you go early.

slo - I did a turkey in the crocpot the other day from my crockpot cookbook. It was so easy, turkey, whole cranberry sauce, orange marmalade and that's it. It also called for orange zest but I didn't have any. I then used the leftovers to make a turkey tetrazzini. Two meals out of one turkey!
*I hear ya on the working out...I've kind of fallen off the wagon too. I lost my walking partners and with it being dark out in the am now I haven't kept up. Will need to do something soon.....

paint - we've been pretty lucky with our JR. We never did any training with her, I regret that. She's been pretty good with the kids, the only problems have been when the kids were younger and doing the ear/tail pulling, etc so I didn't blame her much for that. She does have a lot of energy, even still at 13yrs.

dmm - yikes, I hope Gabriel is OK after the sting. Thankfully we've never had that with the kids. I've been stung but not the kids.

mac - haven't heard from you in a while. Are you ready for your trip? Not too long before we go....

Well, I'm off to Hobby Lobby. Have a great day everyone! :flower3:

anybody have any ideas where i can find an aladdin and abu costume for a 3 year old and 1 year old. i've looked on ebay and disneyshopping.com but all i could really find were genie and jasmine. maybe i can make the aladdin one with some white sweatpants. i could probably find a monkey costume and make the vest and fez... what do you think? any suggestions?

Gabriel seems to be fine and went down for his nap as usual :)

DisneyGal, depending on what you want to spend, you can go here:
http://www.etsy.com/alchemy/

And put in your request! It's Etsy and I love it. You type out what you want and how much you are looking to spend and the crafters all bid on it and let you know what they can do.

I had Autumn and Gabriels June and Quincy outfits made through them and they are awesome!!

DMM thanks for that link! :thumbsup2 They are for my nephews so i'm going to forward that to my sister right now! :goodvibes

Not a problem! Hope it works out. I am really happy with how their outfits turned out and I had over 20 people bid on the project, so I really had a lot to choose from too :)

OK turn off the water now!

I'm supposed to be taking care of my neighbors cat. They are on their way to WDW. My umberella is in the car which is outside.:rolleyes1. I guess I'll wait till the rain slows down.

I am planning on cleaning out my basement. Good thing it is gloomy I won't get distracted :sad2:

Try and stay dry everyone.

Happy Saturday peeps! :wave2:

Every time it rains cats and dogs the way it has been lately, I hold my breath and pray the sump pump is working fine. Our first year in the house there was a huge storm in September and the pump went out and our basement was flooded a bit. So far, so good. It's all dry!

Tonight DH and I are going out for dinner and then to a jazz club to celebrate our 13th anniversary, which is actually this Tuesday. My mom is coming over to watch the kids. I'm actually quite excited!...as we never get out by ourselves that often. At 3:30 I'm going to the salon to have them style my hair....I thought I'd treat myself. Actually it was an idea that the girl who did my pedi had suggested. So I took her up on it! :teeth:

slo It must be hard working until 7pm! :sad2: The crockpot is awesome. What cook book do you have? I have a couple if you'd like to borrow them. Or check out your library.

irish dancer Don't try to do too many rides in MNSSHP night. It will take up all the trick or treating time!! :) I say start in Frontierland too. We do this as well. And we did the Mad Hatter treat trail in the middle of the night too.
I mailed those coupons out to you today! :)

DMM We need our carpets cleaned too. I keep forgetting to look into it though!!

paint Is your sister going to the new beauty school in New Lenox?
The husband of the girl who cuts and colors my hair teaches at the one in Oak Forest.

Hersey Hey...leave the rain alone!!! My grass has never been so GREEN!! :yay:
All though, the poor neighbors have gotten HUGE mushrooms in some of their yards!!! Thankfully, DH just fertilized ours last week or so.

:hippie: PEACE OUT!!! :hippie:

Hi All! Ive been lurking for many years and am finally "coming out", so to speak. I live in the far northwest subrubs (Crystal Lake). Im married and have 2 girls (10 and 6) and 2 golden retrievers.
Its always so interesting to read this tread and hear of places that I recognize and have been to. It makes the internet seem so much smaller!

So Bunchkin Can I say Rain Rain GO AWAY NOW I think I squesh when I walk.

I had to put the air conditioning on yesterday to dry the air out. My poor sump pump is going to need a vacation soon.
