:wave2: everyone!

I sort of disappeared from this thread for a while - sorry about that. DD stopped taking naps and I've had trouble adjusting to the new schedule. It's good to be back. I haven't gotten caught up on what I've missed so I'm just going to start fresh here. Hope everyone is doing okay, though after a quick scan I saw one note of sadness - macraven, I'm sorry for your loss.

Just wanted to pop back in and say hello to the local peeps. Fine weather we're having today  but I hope everyone has a good day anyway. :goodvibes

Hi gang! What is with this weather? There is a freeze warning issued lasting until tomorrow morning.

Slo- Congrats on the 1st communion. It sounds like a lovely day. I am jealous that you did some yard work. Want to come and do mine?

Bunchkin - I almost went to the Aurora outlet mall for the 1st time this weekend. But, I went to Michigan City instead. A had a 40% off Reebok coupon that needed to be used. I spent more in gas than I did on the savings.

Tastefully Simple fans - I second the Pomegranite Chipolte sauce. I stocked up last summer cause I thought they were discontinuing it. I am making the Beer Bread tonight throwing in some cheese like was suggested a while back.

Airfare- I just booked airfare flying Southwest on September 26th, returning on October 3rd for $220 per peson plus the taxes, etc. I used the DING15 promo last week. I wanted it cheaper but really don't think it will be.

Today's track meet was cancelled due to rain. But, ds said it was snowing, too! ARGH!!

Lori

Hi guys! Phew, 2 1/2 days of no DISing boy it's been tough!

The flu bug has gone through everyone except for DH so hopefully we're done with it now. I spend all day Sat alternating between bed and the couch, DD11 was sick too so no track meet in the freezing wind, darn ;) .

My mom was admitted to the hosp Sat due to an irregular heart beat, she'll be there probably until tomorrow :sad2: . They put her on coumadin (sp?) and have to regulate it before she can leave. She's in remarkably good spirits. Went to visit yesterday after church and then took DD11 out to an open house at the camp she's going to this summer.

Spent today catching up on the regular laundry and Costco. Now hoping DD11s track practice is cancelled, brrrr.

piglet - thanks for the Claritin D suggestion, that's what had been working but not so much now. The rain today has made it better so I"m going to check out Walgreens to see what else she can try.
*Thankfully DDs didn't know anything about the Extravaganza!
**Congrats to your nephew!

Bunchkin - DD11 LOVES Ltd 2 too but I agree about their prices.
*Congrats on the shopping scores. I've wanted to go to that Aurora mall for the longest time, will have to get there soon.
**We had Lou Malnati's Friday, they have a delivery here. Yuummmmm!
***How are you feeling?

Becky - it ended up pouring here too but not til around 7p, just as we were getting to the mall for the movie, :rotfl:

slo - so glad to hear the Communion and party went well. I thought of you that day when the sun was shining, it wasn't warm but at least it was dry.
*Anymore coyote sightings?
**I know how you feel about in-season clothes. Good luck finding gloves in Jan or a bathing suit in Aug  .

geffric - boy, you sound busy! How was the Parrot Cage?

juliez - I can totally feel for you with the modem issues! I think ours has some kind of 6th sense, whenever I really NEED something from the internet (kids' school stuff, directions, etc) it is down. Then there are the times when it's down that I just 'need' to surf :rolleyes1 .
*So glad you're feeling better!
**AirTran still has $99 ea way on certain days if you're flexible

Leigh - I hope your friend's DD likes her iPod shuffle, thankfully DD11 is still happy with her MP3 player.

Hershey - isn't it funny how those ticket prices work. It was that way for our trip last June, even adding the 2nts hotel we still saved over $300 staying longer (darn it  ).

paint - so glad they found your Dfiance's wallet! Sounds like a fun bachelorette party.

mac - welcome back. Thanks for the listings, will have to set my DVR.

Sam - have a good time in Savannah! We went for a day during our Spring Break trip to Hilton Head Island. Tried to get into Lady & Son's restaurant, yeah right! If you're interested in that you have to line-up probably no later than 8:30a to put in your name, they start taking names at 9:30a but the line will be long.

Well have to run and make dinner. Sorry I didn't get to everyone! Have a great evening.

Hello!! :wave2:

Went shopping yesterday, again. I've come to the conclusion that I don't like shopping any more!! I hate dealing with rude people and hate not finding what I'm looking for, but that was only at a couple places.
Went to Sam's Club and the crowds were crazy!
Then stopped at the mall quick.
Then went to Trader Joe's!!! :cool1: Got lots of yummies there! :goodvibes
Stopped home to drop off food and then DD and I headed to Kohl's and Bed, Bath & Beyond. :faint: We were so beat by the end of the day. I ended up falling asleep watching a movie last night.

Feeling lots better. Thanks for asking peeps!
So is DS! He seems to be rid of his rash now. :thumbsup2

paint Glad to hear the wallet was returned!!

slo When I was shopping yesterday I heard someone else complaining to a worker at Kohl's about no coats being available.

Sam Sorry your trip is not going to be as much fun as you hoped it would. Try to make the most of it, even if it's on your own.
There are a lot of good deals up at the outlet mall in Aurora. For kids here is a Gap Kids, Children's Place, Carters, Limited Too and other places too. All good prices.

irish dancer Sorry you're all sick!! Hope you're all on the mend soon!
I wish there was a Lou's closer to us!! :)
Hope your mom is doing better soon!! I was in the hospital myself for the same thing a couple years ago.

momto1 There is a Reebock store at the Aruora outlet mall, just in case you didn't know. :goodvibes

zero Having nap time end can be a challenge for everyone! :goodvibes

mac Welcome back!! Thanks for the listings listmaster!!!!:)

disneygal I told you Airtran was good!!! :goodvibes

Gotta run and get DS in bed. I'm letting DD stay up a little late to watch Star Wars Deal or No Deal. :yoda: :chewy: :darth:

Ok, this weather has got to go! :sad2: I was so enjoying the warm weather on Friday.. and then boom...windy and cold Saturday. Now i think i am getting a cold.. like everyone else. :guilty:

Hey all. Busy week. Trying to get the van ready to trade in. Buying a Honda Odyssey (maybe)this week. Cha-Ching.
I did book the RT for August on Air Tran. I got $99 each way. :confused3 Not sure if this will be a good deal or not, but the way things are going, I didn't want to risk it. I still have no flight home from CA in June and right now it is over $200 to come home.:scared1:
Watch, there will be a ding for Southwest for August for $49 each way and I will be sick with myself.
Mac, welcome home. :grouphug:
Slo, hope Stephanie had a great day. Congrats to her once again.
Bunchkin, I've spent all my money on airfare - no money left for clothes here. Hope the stuff from last year still fits.:scared1: I know Kellie needs new shorts. She is in the same boat as Sam's DD. Daisy Dukes for sure.:rolleyes1
OK, enough is enough!!! It is snowing here!!!!:scared: Did the month roll back and I missed it?
Paint, glad to here your DFiance got his wallet back. Hope he enjoyed his time away as much as you enjoyed your showers. Sounds like you had a great weekend.
Welcome new friends.
Get well all you poor sick folks. :grouphug:
I need to run off to bed. I think I have a day of rest (for a little while at least)tomorrow. Of course, there is always :laundy:
Later.

Okay...notice anything different about me? I got my first tag. Looks lovely on me, doesn't it!
I am up waiting fo dfiance to drive home from the Indy airport. I hope he can stay awake! I am excited to see him and can't sleep, so I am working on some projects for the end of the semester.
Bunchkin and Tiggern- I know how it goes with the clothes. Dsdoesn't grow, he is 8 and was wearinf size 5 shorts the other day. DD, on the other hand, is a weed. You get away with small shorts a little more than pants. being tall myself, I really hate too short pants on dd. It looks so dorky!
ID- Feel better soon. Ds, after covering his room with vomit, never did get sick again!
Dgal- It actually snowed by us today. I asked my neighbor, here from CA, how she liked the weather. She thought it was crazy! How are the wedding plans going? Disneymoon?

Okay. Break over. back to homework!

Paint ~ Nathan, who just turned 9, is just now able to wear clothes from the "big boy" section. Last summer he was still in 5/6 and now he is in 7/8. He has always been so hard to shop for because he felt so many of the clothes in the "little boy" section were to babyish. Lauren, who will be 6 soon, is also leggy. I love capris weather, because they look so cute on her. Shorts and jeans are either too short or too big in the waist.

OK, I need to go to sleep. "See" you all later.

Why am I up? I'm going to bed. But first- has anyone had any experience with the "Go Bananas" places in Norridge or Arlington Hts?

Nighty Nite!

But first- has anyone had any experience with the "Go Bananas" places in Norridge or Arlington Hts?
Norridge only, last summer a couple/few times. It's adequate (and will be closing maybe next year, according to Walmart rumors :rolleyes1 ) Kids love everything tho (maybe 6-8 crowd). :confused3 Before you go to either, look online for the discounts on wrist bands - best deal. :thumbsup2

Hello All! Just checking in! :goodvibes

We have been crazy busy with Kelly lately, who just this weekend completed her 1ST 4 ice shows in less than 48 hours! And me getting an infection and having to see the Dr. today. No biggie, should be better in 24 hours, but taking meds for 7 days.

Aunt recently diagnosed with stage 4 cancer :sad1: , and sister-in-law diagnosed with Lupus. Bummer.

Other than that, Kelly is done with soccer, done with ice skating, on to softball, continuing clarinet, and Girl Scouts, plus a school musical on Friday night, and choir.

Has anyone here seen Jersey Boys? We have tickets for next month, just wondering what anyone thought?

Also, has anyone been to Grizzly Jack's Grand Bear Resort down near Starved Rock? Any thoughts? We're going in June with my brother and family.

Speaking of growing children, I HEAR YA!!! Kelly is sorta tall and skinny and gets away with smaller sizes, with adjustable waists!, but her clothes from last year are Dixie-short! Even her capris! Her tall overpowers her slim now I guess. And, from a Mom's view, at her first softball game, with her wearing a sleeveless jersey, she looked emaciated to me, her arms anyway. :scared1: I wish I had that problem!

Sorry for the LONG check-in......

Opinions please ----- re: Girl Scouts - Daddy & Daughter every year has been bowling. Mommy & me has been Little Janie's (a local girl dress up place), Build-a-Bear and, last year we were put to work making bracelets (for a good cause) but where's the MOMMY fun in these, please???? This year it's jazzercise and while I'm not adverse to exercising, I just don't find ANY of these events to be Mommy AND Me! WE WANT TO BOWL, MINI GOLF, something together! What do you think? Any ideas I can give them for NEXT year?

Well, thanks for reading! :goodvibes

Miss ya all!! :grouphug:

Get well, be well, stay well, to All!!

Brrrr.........it's cold outside :cold:
I want spring back!!!!

paint - That's good that you had a productive weekend too :)
**Congrats on your new tag!!!!:cheer2:

Julez - I never heard of that place, what is it?

Mac - I'm sorry the funeral was so sad

Sam - I'm sorry the Savanah trip is not going to be as much fun as originally planned:guilty: Hopefully it will be more fun once you actually get there. Have a safe trip tomorrow, and let us know how everything went when you return.

piglet - I have the same clothes problem with Stephanie - it's terrible!!! The jeans that fit her the best are at The Childrens Place. They have 6x/7, and they fit her beautifully!!!!! Give them a try!!:thumbsup2

DG - I hope Stephanie remembers her First Communion too - it was such a nice day:cloud9:

Zero - Hi there!! :wave2: Good to see you!!!!

momto1 - Sorry, I can't come do your's, because I'm still recovering from doing mine. I did so much squatting Sunday, that now my knees, butt, back of my thighs, and back are killing me. Aleve has been a very good friend of mine!!!!:)

ID - I'm sorry about all the sickness in your house:guilty: I'm glad you are all on the mend, and hopefully it will totally leave the house :wizard: I'm also sorry to hear about your mom:guilty: I will keep her in my prayers  and hopefully she'll be better real soon :wizard: Please keep us posted on how she is doing.
**No more coyote sightings:sad2: But I was unable to go outside yesterday, because it was raining - I was so bummed out!!!! So I'll go out today, and we'll see if it's out there.

Bunchkin - People can be so rude can't they?!?! It's terrible!!!!! Ya know, I"ve never been to a Trader Joes:sad2: I need to take a ride out your way sometime and check it out.

MKFan - I"m sorry your getting a cold - bummer!!!! I hope you feel better soon:wizard:

Tiggggerrnnnnnnn - How fun that you are buying a new car :car: It always hurts, moneywise, to do that, but it's always fun to have a new vehicle!!! Good luck with it, and have fun with your new car!!!

Kim - I"m so sorry to hear about your Aunt and your SIL :guilty: I will keep them in my prayers:angel: Please keep us posted on how they are doing.
**Sounds like you have been busy. Good luck to Kelly as she starts softball - how fun!!! Stephanie wants to play so bad, but it just wouldn't work out with the store:sad2: Hopefully she can give it a try next year.

Well, I gotta wrap up this post so I can get outside and walk - Brrrrr!!!!!!
Have a good day today everyone!!!

Good Morning Everyone!:flower3: i hear it's suppose to get back up to the 60s tomorrow. i'm keeping my fingers crossed! went to the gym last night. I was trying to do my crunchies but kept being distracted. everytime i came up i would see this tiny little girl running on the treadmill in front of me with the word "cheer" on her butt. the word just kept bouncing and drawing my attention, which brings me to my topic.... why is it necessary to have something spelled across your backside. is that the point? to make people look? i felt very awkward... i have a few pants from college that have my school name on them but they are pajama pants... not work out pants. needless to say i skipped the cruchies.

Zero ~ :wave2:

Bunchkin ~ you did tell me AirTran was good!:thumbsup2 I know what you mean about rude people. i worked retail for several years and felt no matter how nice i was to some people they just wanted to be cranky and take it out on someone! it works the other way too! i go into a store and if i have a question i ask very nicely and get a rude answer. like i'm bothering the employee... grrrr. that's why i LOVE disney! Everyone is nice and happy!

MckyFan ~ I agree! This weather has GOT to go!

Tiggerrn ~ Good luck with your new car!

Paint ~ You wear your new tag very well! I was so excited when i got upgraded to mouseketeer the day before my trip! on the way to the airport i was telling mike and my dad. they both laughed:confused3 but in a loving way! i went to the make-your-own Ears place in the MK to celebrate! mine are pink on a black beanie! unique yet simple!

Kim ~ I've been wanting to see Jersey Boys! I'm gonna get tix one of these days to see it with my dad! he's a big Frankie Valli fan, as am i. my boss saw it, said it was great!

Well, i better get back to work! have a good day everyone!

So, I actually stayed awake until dfiance got home- 3 a.m.! I was so happy to see him and he bought me two really cool necklaces! The boy likes to buy me jewelry! But, then I had to ask...about...well, certain "shows" in Vegas and if he went to them. I knew they would. 12 guys? It was a given. I ended up getting kind of mad, now I feel stupid. I told him I wasn't mad, but nothing he could say would make me like it. I shouldn't have even asked. Ignorance is bliss. Now, today I am tired from being up late and annoyed with myself for not being secure enough to keep my mouth shut! So, that's my vent! Somebody needs a nap!

Paint ~ I understand how you feel 100%. I would have asked, then been hurt, then felt crummy for feeling hurt and finally wonder why I even asked. I just hope Dewain never goes to Vegas for work.

Kim ~ Great to see you. Sorry to hear about your aunt and SIL

Good afternoon all! :)

Hooray, my flowers survived the freeze! I love to garden and I was worried about my daffodils and bleeding hearts, but in the end I had to tell myself that they live outside and they're just going to have to deal with the cold. Happily, they did.

DD had ballet today. She has a new teacher that I like much better than the previous one as she is a little better at keeping the girls behavior in check. Mine "cut up" in class today, as the teacher put it, but DD apologized for the disruption so all was well. And it was cold out there! But, I know why it's so cold. DD asked for and then ate chicken nuggets for the first time in her life yesterday, so I believe that hell has finally frozen over. ;)

KimRaye - not sure about cost, but when we had our "Mom and Me" when I was in GS a hundred years ago ;) , we went to see Peter Pan downtown (I think Sandy Duncan was Peter Pan) and then went out for pizza. Also, I'm keeping a good thought for your aunt and SIL. :flower3:

Tiggerrn - we're looking to buy a new car soon, too. DH's car has over 200K miles on it and is just now starting to show its age. He'll take my car (only 45K on it) and I'll get a new one to ferry the kid (hopefully kidS soon) around.

disneygal - I never understood why anyone would want words emblazoned across their butt. Even when my butt was at its finest I didn't want writing on it.

irish - so sorry your family has been sick - the flu is the worst! I hope all of you feel better soon.

sam - LOVE the Premium Outlets mall near my house. They just opened up Gymboree and Stride-Rite outlets there. Plus I like to walk through the Coach outlet and drool. Too pricey for me though, even with outlet prices.

Wow, lunch time already! Gotta get some food into me and DD. Have a great day everyone! :goodvibes

My mom was admitted to the hosp Sat due to an irregular heart beat, she'll be there probably until tomorrow :sad2: . They put her on coumadin (sp?) and have to regulate it before she can leave. She's in remarkably good spirits.

My mom is on coumadin (sp? I don't know how to spelll it either  ) also. I just called to double-check. She has atrial fribrilation. She said she thinks she was diagnosed and put on that without going to the hospital, and then a couple of weeks later she had some discomfort in her chest and had to spend the night in the hospital. (I was lumping it all together, like the hospital stay is what started the whole thing.) She has to go and get her levels checked for the drug every week or two, but otherwise she's doing fine. Hopefully your mom will, too. :goodvibes

Leigh - I hope your friend's DD likes her iPod shuffle, thankfully DD11 is still happy with her MP3 player.

I'm sure she'll like it. That's at the top of her list for her birthday. (She told me, no clothes. :rotfl2: I was already planning to get her the player.) She's my little buddy (along with her brothers), and I spoil them. :goodvibes

Watch, there will be a ding for Southwest for August for $49 each way and I will be sick with myself.

Don't check Ding fares right before your trip! :thumbsup2

We have been crazy busy with Kelly lately, who just this weekend completed her 1ST 4 ice shows in less than 48 hours!

What rink does Kelly skate at? Does she compete? (And if so, at what level?)

Aunt recently diagnosed with stage 4 cancer :sad1: , and sister-in-law diagnosed with Lupus. Bummer.

I'm sorry.

Okay...notice anything different about me? I got my first tag. Looks lovely on me, doesn't it!

Okay. Break over. back to homework!

you wear purple quite well.
congrats!

yaa, yesterday was the tag fairy purple rage of tagging....

Aunt recently diagnosed with stage 4 cancer :sad1: , and sister-in-law diagnosed with Lupus. Bummer.

Has anyone here seen Jersey Boys? We have tickets for next month, just wondering what anyone thought?

Also, has anyone been to Grizzly Jack's Grand Bear Resort down near Starved Rock? Any thoughts? We're going in June with my brother and family.

Miss ya all!! :grouphug:

Get well, be well, stay well, to All!!

i have not been to see jersey boys but some of mr mac's coworkers have and rave about it.
we're tempted to buy tickets for it now.
the reviews in the paper have been very good for that show.

prayers and good thoughts for your aunt and sister in law, keep us posted on their progress.

have been to starved rock.
will have to look at my notes i took about the place you mentioned.

Howdy!! :wave2:

DS had his first real eye exam at the eye doctor today.
The doctor said that he has an astigmatism, just like me. But that he doesn't need glasses yet, possibly in a year or so. I'm hoping it won't be for a while. DD didn't get her glasses until she was in 2nd grade.

After the appointment we went to the store where I lost my magnetic sunglass clip to my glasses!!! I have no clue how this happened. :confused3 Searched everywhere for it and nothing!! :headache:
So I guess I'll be going for new glasses soon too, it was time for a check up anywho!

Kim Sorry to hear about your aunt and sister in law.
I have known friends who have been to Grizzly Jack's and have liked it.
I want to go to Jersey Boys too, so let us know how it is!! :thumbsup2
Hope you're feeling well soon too!! :goodvibes

slo Trader Joe's is off of La Grange Road across from the mall. They have really cute little kid size shopping carts there. I had one driven into the back of my ankle several times the other day by Hunter!! :rotfl2:

Sam Have a safe trip! Eat something great for all of us at the Lady and Sons!!! :thumbsup2

paint I understand wanting to know, it's natural. Don't beat yourself up about it. Beat him up instead!!! :thumbsup2  :rotfl2:
Congrats on the tag!

Tiggerrn So how many cars are you trading in for the new one!!! Was it 2 out of 3 needed work right?
I seriously don't think you'll see $49 fares any more from anyone!!! :sad2:

Need to run!
Have a great night all!

Julez - I never heard of that place, what is it?

http://www.gobananasfun.com/

Just lookin' for somethin' to do on DD's 5th birthday Sunday. It's cold out and since I work so late (5) I don't know any of the mom's in her preschool class to invite the kids to a regular old house cake/ice cream shindig. And we don't have $$ for an official party anywhere this year.

........everytime i came up i would see this tiny little girl running on the treadmill in front of me with the word "cheer" on her butt. the word just kept bouncing and drawing my attention, which brings me to my topic.... why is it necessary to have something spelled across your backside........

:rotfl2: I dunnow. I think they look cute in catalogs. But when I see them out I just think, "geez." I can't bring myself to buy a pair. And my daughter's little 4-yr old bootie looks cute with her Hello Kitty track suit with "Hello Kitty" across her little tush but she's 4 and not 14!!

.......... I shouldn't have even asked. Ignorance is bliss. Now, today I am tired from being up late and annoyed with myself for not being secure enough to keep my mouth shut!

Best word of advice I can give you on dealing with any of this kind of stuff in life is this-- Always ask yourself this question when facing a matter of this trivial annoyance than can snowball in life/marriage:
Will it matter when we're 80? :confused3
Usually the answer's no, so let it go! :thumbsup2

disneygal - I never understood why anyone would want words emblazoned across their butt. Even when my butt was at its finest I didn't want writing on it.

:lmao:

Norridge only, last summer a couple/few times. It's adequate (and will be closing maybe next year, according to Walmart rumors :rolleyes1 ) Kids love everything tho (maybe 6-8 crowd). :confused3 Before you go to either, look online for the discounts on wrist bands - best deal. :thumbsup2

Also, has anyone been to Grizzly Jack's Grand Bear Resort down near Starved Rock? Any thoughts? We're going in June with my brother and family.

Thanks for the tip!
And as for GJ- it's owned (I believe) by the same co. as Grand (great?) Wolf in WisDells. My DSS has gone there 2x with his mother's family and he loves it- he is 6-1/4 yrs old.

Mac- :grouphug:

Sam- Maybe find an interesting side trip on tripadvisor.com and do something fun you never have done before?

Bunchkin- I've never been to a Trader Joe's- although we do have one out here. Someone must be going because after 2 yrs or so, they haven't closed yet!

Tiggernnn- Good luck! We got a new car last year at this time, now I'm bored with it though and want a new one! LOL

Everyone else-- :wave2:

I'm anxiously awaiting my stimulus check. Anyone else? So tired tonight, def. not staying up until 1am again! :scared1:

G'night all! :fish: :flower1: :snail: :cat: :flower: :tink:

I was feeling festive.

OMG! I had a post all typed that I started this afternoon and somehow my computer started scrolling back through pages and I've lost it all :badpc: .

Here is a shortened version (without all the smilies as that is what I think messed me up, lol).

Bunchkin - you've been the shopping fiend!
*So glad to hear you and DS are feeling better.
*DH lost his magnetic sunglasses clip in Home Depot last year, we were leaving for WDW the next week so he ordered a new one. It cost $75! Of course the store called when we got back, they found it.

Mckymousefn - sorry to hear you're getting sick. I too hate this return to cold, I was so loving the warm.

Tiggerrn - congrats on the new car :car:
*I think the $99 on AirTran will be the best there is, I don't think we'll be seeing those $49 DINGs anytime soon, unfortunately.

paint - congrats on the new tag, you wear it well.
*So far we are vomit free too, thank goodness.

juliez - What is "Go Bananas"? eta: never mind, you posted while I was recovering my post.

Kim - so sorry to hear about your aunt and SIL, will keep them in my prayers.
*Haven't seen Jersey Boys but friend just did and she thought it was GREAT.
**We have the same prob with our Mom & DD outing for GS this year. Last year it was to see Wicked downtown but we were in Disney. This year it is a beading party making matching bracelets?!

disneygal - too funny on the "cheer" shorts, I can't imagine wearing something that would draw attention to my backside even if it were little. I'll never forget when I saw a teen at a dance comp with sweats on that said "Juicy" on her backside. My eyes nearly popped out of my head, I thought what parent in their right mind would let their teen DD walk around with that on their backside. Of course, uncool suburban mom that I am didn't know that Juicy was highend couture but I still think it is rather tasteless.

Leigh - my mom has the same thing, she ended up in the hosp because she went to the ER because she felt like her heart was racing. Her bro and sis both have this and the MD told her it is VERY common in those over 80 (which she is). She is doing well and her levels are nearly set so she should be home tomorrow.

slo, piglet, Zero, mac (and everyone else) - :wave2:

Well, DH brought home some "gifts" for me from work so I'm off to read. His boss was at a Border's Book show in Orlando and she gave him Birnbaum's Official Guide and Dining Guide along with a PassPorter's, all 2008. She also gave him Mickey silouette pens for the kids and the movie Juno. Anyone seen it? I think I'll save that for Sunday night when DH leaves for Calif for his sales convention.

Have a good night everyone.
