It looks like we'll be staying in a 2 bd (preferred view) villa in February, and I'm having some trouble finding info on the layout of the resort. Does anyone know where I can find a map with specific room locations? Where I could try to identify a room (or area) to request? I found the general map of the resort, but not one with room numbers (and whether or not they are studios, 1 bds, 2 bds, etc.)

Or if anyone has any thoughts I'd love to hear them:

We're in the market for a top floor 2 bd, far from the elevators, with either a few of Epcot fireworks, or something quiet and serene (i.e. not the pool or a parking lot.) All suggestions are welcome. Thanks!

Unless you have a Boardwalk view (your confirmation will say so), there are no PV rooms that have a view of the EPCOT fireworks from the room.

Since you don't want a pool view and are looking for something away from the elevators, request something overlooking the Croquet Lawn. These rooms will also have a view of the canal between the BWV and the Swan resort as well as a view of the Swan/Dolphin resorts.

The PV studios, 1 bedrooms and 2 bedrooms are scattered through out the resort. AFAIK, there really aren't any maps with room numbers out there. FWIW, you don't need them anyway as it is best to request what you want in general terms. Sounds like you should request top floor overlooking the croquet lawn.

Enjoy your stay.

Your only shot at Epcot fireworks with a PV would be the the strip of red between the blue and green in the photo above. These are "Village Green" rooms. However, these rooms may be all studios, I'm not sure. Also, they are close to the elevators. So a canal view room would probably be most to your liking. Good luck!

Jean - AFAIK, the PV rooms overlooking the Village Green are all dedicated studios. No 1 or 2 bedrooms in that area.

Interesting thread. DW and I will be at BWV for the first time in Jan, We have a PV studio reserved. What is better, a village green request or a croquet lawn request? The dedicated studio aspect of the village green view is appealing.

Thanks for any suggestions.
