Calling all AKL experts!

We are heading to AKL Kidani on Weds AM for our first trip there and I have a few questions.

1) Will there be a pack n'play and high chair already in the room, or do I need to request. I read on all ears that the pack n' play was there but not a high chair. (oh yeah, deluxe studio- savannah view)

2) Since today is Monday and we arrive on Weds, do they have the resort activities alreqady planned with times? Is threre a good place to view thaqt online before I get there?

3) Is it true that the fastest/easiest way to get to Jambo (or really Mara for counter service breakfast) is by jumping on any park bus? seems like they would be full in the AM. I heard the walk is pretty far. We have a almost 3yo and a 20lb 7month old baby- aka slug. No flames: she's a very pretty and sweet tempered slug, but a slug none the less.

4)plus your 2cents on anything wlse a first timer needs to know. We will only stay 2 days and 2 nights. We may not even go to a park this trip.

I think you'd get good answers on the AKL thread, the first page has lots of info.
Last time I stayed at AKL, Kidani was in the process of being built.
But to answer some questions, yes, rooms will have a pack & play -usually stored in the closet.

Resorts have a monthly sched. So yes, activities are planned in advance. At check in you'll get a resort sheet or booklet with all the resort activities listed and times. The AKL thread may have May's activity sheet posted.

We are actually checking in to AKL tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!! Looks like we have a week of warm weather to look forward to.
I've never stayed at Kadani but I'm guessing the amenities are the same as the AKL and this will be our 5 time staying. We always had a pack n play in the room. Not very padded but they do the job. Our DS slept with us when we brought him that young. He hated the Pack n play.
My kiddies are little older..DS6 and DD9 now. Finally, freedom.
Your best bet is the shuttle to the Mara. It's a good 10 minute walk.
The pool area at Kidani is pretty nice. Lot of little stuff for your slug. Buckets that dump water on them, etc.

You will get a pack n play but not a high chair in a studio. You should be able to request one. The best way to go between K and J is to get the free shuttle( not a disney bus.) Go to the concierge / valet bay and ask about it. A cm will drive you. Take a few minutes by van.

If it is a 10 minute walk, I bet it is a beautiful one! Then you can eat what you want and not feel guilty...

So far, AKL has been my sons favorite resort of all time...anywhere.... you guys will love it, and the scenery is gorgeous, so whether you hoof it or bus it, you will have great views!

We check in at Kidani this coming Saturday! I can't wait. Good to hear that there is a pack and play already in the rooms because we will need one as well.
