Ed - Thank you for mentioning the Travel Channel show. I taped the DCL show last night. I am sure I will wear it out. Awhile back there was talk of the planning DVD. I got one, I think in Jan. Is this the new one? I actually loved it. Much bettter than those VHS ones. I hope you enjoy the cabins. I wanted to stay in one several years ago, and my husband said no way. I think it would be great.

Mary Rose - Congratulations to Taryn on getting her braces off! You don't happen to have any relation to Tom & Linda O'brien in Colts Neck, do you?

New Holidayx2 - Welcome to you and your family! We don't want to use our points for the cruise because they are so high. We have to save them for WDW. We paid 4,290.33 for 2 adults and 1 child (6) for a Cat. 5. This included cruise, taxes and port fees only. I know DCL was almost 1,000 more when we booked on 2/10.

Since we have 17 months until we sail, I think it is safe to say we still have plenty of time to plan, right Ed???

Heck, I'm leaving for Florida this Tuesday and my suitcase still sits here empty. I did manage to get the music on though!!!
It's playing through for a second time, I really enjoy listening to the steel drums.

You know I was thinking we are wondering when we will hit 200 pages, since we are around 170 people strong now, How long will it be before 200 people

Well this afternoon we're doing some spring & summer clothes shopping for Caitlin. She is one fashion princess, yep dad is spending more money again.

We have to do it up, she was the first girl born in my family in over 82 years
Since then my nephew had twins, a boy and a girl, so now there are two Part of our trip this summer will be to see my Grand Niece and nephew.

Hazel took Angelina out last Sunday and did some shopping for new Spring and Summer clothes. I was told, this was just a "start" on the shopping, it was enough to get Angelina through her Spring Break vacation this coming week. One thing I have to say is, Angelina is a good little shopper, she looks for the sales and the bargins.

Well, I turned the music off for a bit when Hazel called at lunchtime, but guess what, the suitcase is still empty, LOL!!!

Tina, Andy, Doreen & Mary Rose thank you all for the prayers and good wishes. Nickolas is getting better and we hope he will be home in the next few days. He will have a nurse at first, then his parents will do his meds. He will probably have to be home schooled. It will take a while, but we look forward to them coming home. My daughter seems to be having a difficult time with his absence. I hope that will be gone when he returns home and she can see him.

Heather: I am so glad to hear that Nickolas is getting better. I have kept him in my prayers. I know it is so hard for children to understand what is going on and it makes it very difficult on you. I am sending lots of pixie dust your way and hopefully things will be getting better everyday.

I just wish I had put a few things in the suitcase before taking the photo!!!

Angelina is at our local community center exercising. Later this afternoon, we are having a daddy/daughter date and are going to go see "The Pacifier." Angelina's friend saw it and said it was really funny. Angelina and her friend went and saw "The Ring 2" last night, not me, after dropping them off, I sinned and bought myself a pint of Ben & Jerry's Chubby Hubby ice cream. It tasted soooooooooooooo good, but I should be with Angelina at the community center working it off, LOL!!!

There's the phone, I've got to run and pick Angelina up.

Hi everyone,

Trying to hit page 200 soon.

Tina and Andy - I didn't realize you were both chatting this morning or I would have joined you. I was up at 5 and couldn't sleep. I didn't even think that anyone would be on.

I am trying to decide whether to fly Southwest out of Philly or Spirit out of Atlantic City for our cruise this August. So my DD Lindsay and I took a ride to the Atlantic City Airport to see how far it is. It took me about 70 minutes and it seems in the long run it might be less of a hassle since it is a much smaller airport. Has anyone flown on Spirit before?

It's me again. I don't know much about computers and wanted to put a family picture with my signature and have no idea how to do it. Since my DD put the dates etc on for me, she told me she would put a family picture on for me. Well when I just posted a minute ago, I saw that she did put a picture on for me - only it is Mickey Mouse instead of my family. She said since Mickey is my first true love she thought it counted as a family picture.

Kids - whatcha gonna do with them

We flew Spirit last year and I am hooked. We upgrade to first class at the airport for $30 each and everything went like clock work. We are using them again in June for our WDW vacation and cruise. We stay overnight in AC and then go to the airport. You can book a room on either Priceline or Hotwire pretty reasonably and save yourself that long drive in the morning. Our flight leaves at 6:45 AM so we will arrive at 4:45 AM and hopefully be able to upgrade again, but there are 7 of us this time so who knows if that many seat will be available.

Heather: Glad Nicklolas is getting better. Keep us updated. First time I flew in a helicopter was a couple of years ago with Chuck over the Smokey Mountains. We went to Gaitlinburg Tenn. I was just in Awe. I didn't get I tried not to look down really if that makes any sense. It was exciting.........I will do same with this trip.

Bev: Oh Yes join in the in the AM if your up early. We have to talk softly so we don't wake up Doreen though.

Doreen: Sorry about your pain.......Will you be able to get it taken care of by cruise time? How is the herbal stuff working for you?

I can't help you with this sorry. I wish I could do this also. I think it's to funny your DD put Mickey for your family picture. She sounds like a hoot.

Still a couple of feet, plus the snow mounds, up here. It's gonna take a LOT of warm sunny days to melt this all. Sorry about your kittie. We had to put our Siamese cat, Tofu, to sleep about 5 years ago. It was so sad, I hated having to tell DSs that we had to do this, but the poor cat was suffering. Two years later we got Mushu though, so we once again have a home ruled by a cat. =^..^=

Andy: I'm sure you are doing an excellent job of being Mr. Mom. On behalf of moms everywhere, thank you for the compliments.

Doreen: I'm sorry to hear about your foot, it sounds really painful I hope you can get some relief.

newholiday!!! Wow, I have seen you on these boards for years now! It'll be great to see you and meet you on the cruise, if not before at a meet!! Welcome board, to you, your DH, and your DS! What age will your DS be at cruise time? My DSs will be 18 and 15 at cruise time.


Speaking of Pre-Cruise Meets, who is up for one this April when I'll be in NJ the week of April 18th through the 24th??

How about a New England meet for those of us further north??

Let me know if any of you can and want to meet in April in NJ, since that's coming up first.

P.S. I actually started this reply at 9am this morning but am finishing it now at 5pm at night. LOL We've been running around all day doing banking, going to the dump, and shopping at Home Depot for supplies for DSs steam engine. All DS had to do was build a "model" of a steam engine but DH decided they need to make it a WORKING steam engine. LOL DH never does anything half way. lol

Terry - count me in for a NJ meet. I just planned a casino trip for work and we are going to the Tropicana Casino on 4/21. Just let me know where and when the meet is. Looking forward to seeing my DISfriends.

I should be paying bills etc but this is more fun. I did go shopping with Lindsay and she bought a dress for her senior prom that's in May. She can't wait. Then we went to the Olive Garden for lunch to celebrate Harley's 19th birthday. (Better late then never).

Hey, let's start planning another DIS cruise for 8/08. LOL

This was our 2nd cat in three years we had to put to sleep.
Both had simular health issues, so it was time. One lived to 15 years and the other to 16 years. Right now we have an english springer spainel, but we are planning after the aug vacation to bring home 2 kittens.

I understand about a house rulled by cats

Most of the snow is melted, but a pile in the shade on the side of the garage.
Tonight/tommorow they are talking about a rain snow mix for the first day of spring.
