:hyper2: Angelina and I both give "The Pacifier" a thumbs up. We both really enjoyed the movie, not to mention it was nice having a daddy/daughter date as well. We also stopped and got a bite to eat on the way home. Luckily I turned my cell phone on vibrate, because about half way through the movie Hazel called, I was wondering what that buzz was in my pocket, LOL!!! :rotfl2:

I tried calling Hazel before we left, but she didn't hear her cell phone (the ladies were in the hot tub), so I sent her a text message not to call that we were going to the movies. I should have known better, Hazel doesn't know how to open up text messages, so she never saw my message. :confused3

I never did get a nap in today, so I think I'll be crashing early. Remember at 7:34am EST Sunday, Spring "officially" arrives!!!!! It's just hours away now!!!!!

OMG! I cant believe we actually went through with it and booked! I am so psyched! :bounce: :bounce:
SeaSpray Im taking a look (again) at your website and youre helping to bring back MAGICal cruise memories - thanks for sharing.
Andy - I took Jon a few wks ago to Pacifer - we both enjoyed it

Im soooo ready for Spring. Last wknd I took Jon to an indoor wave pool on Cape Cod. Cant wait for the Davis Farmland in Sterling to reopen (we bought a membership this yr) No matter how old this kid gets he/we still love the baby animals.

How is Costa Maya?

Newholidayx2 - Welcome! Don't worry about your son. There are at least 4 boys around your son's age in this group, including my son, Devin (turns 13 in June). The kids from this group that I have met are great kids and well mannered. By the way, we're a pretty informal group. What's your name?

Tina - The weather today has been rain... and more rain. :umbrella:
I don't worry too much about Mt St Helens. It is located over 100 miles SSE of my location. The prevaling winds usually come off the ocean (toward the east). The most I would experience if it really blew it's top is an earthquake and since I spent my early childhood in southern California, earthquakes don't intimidate me much.

Ed - You're working this weekend too, huh? Too bad. Me too! (Warning - technical gobbledigook coming...) We're to the point of system testing all of our changes. I'm cycle monitor for the batch systems this week. I get to log on in about an hour or so and verify that the cycles ran without error. :badpc:

And don't be scaring me, dude!!!! 200 people?!!! :crowded: If everyone in the group wants to buy a t-shirt, then I'm going to be so busy that I'm not going to have any time to eat or sleep! :scared1:

Doreen - Glad to hear that your foot is doing better! I learned a long time ago that many homeopathic remedy have existed for centuries, which leads me to believe that there must be some validity to the treatment. Since then, I try to balance traditional medicine with more natural remedies. :flower:

Heather - I'm glad to hear that Nickolas is better. It's always so stressful when someone that you care about is ill and you can't do anything about it.

Andy - Thanks for the movie recommendation! I've been wanting to see that one. Right back at ya! - Go see Robots (unless you dislike Robin Williams). I took Devin the other day. We both laughed through the whole thing! (Good luck packing! If I had left a suitcase open and empty as long as you have, I would have had a very irrate cat curled up in the middle of it! :rotfl: She hates it when I pack.)

Terry - I can empathize with your day. I spent about 5 hours running errands today. And considering that one of the stops was at COSTCO/Sam's Club (warehouse wholesaler), I'm totally broke, but well supplied.

Everyone else - I hope that life is treating you well!

Just to let you guys know - my communications may be somewhat sporadic over the next month. Life has been very chaotic for me lately and will continue to be so for a while.

I found out a couple of weeks ago that the company wasn't going to renew the lease on our office building here locally. We were told that we would all be transitioned into working from home. Then a few days later we are told that our organization within the company is reorganizing and the 'work at home' thing is not a guaranteed deal. Fortunately for me, I am being transferred to a different organization within the company that is not involved in this reorganization. So, now I am going crazy trying to get my 'spare bedroom' (and my life) reorganized into a home office. I plan to be working from home full time by the end of the school year. (Rough commute too! About 60-70 feet via the kitchen for caffeine.)

Hazel took Angelina out last Sunday and did some shopping for new Spring and Summer clothes. I was told, this was just a "start" on the shopping, it was enough to get Angelina through her Spring Break vacation this coming week. One thing I have to say is, Angelina is a good little shopper, she looks for the sales and the bargins.

Well, I turned the music off for a bit when Hazel called at lunchtime, but guess what, the suitcase is still empty, LOL!!! :rotfl2: :rotfl: :rotfl2:

I have a few years before Caitlin is looking for bargins.
She made a big haul today for spring/summer.
50 plus pieces of clothing and $780.oo dollars later, :faint: poor old dad is tapped out. :rotfl2: Well its a good thing I got those AAA rates for the Aug trip :rotfl2:

Yep I had to dial in and release a couple of applications this morning, 7 am ish. and it isnt even my weekend to be on call :sad2:

The went spring /summer clothes shopping for my daughter,
3 stores and added the total together :scared1: ,well at least my princess will be well dressed.

Spring arrives :worship: in a few hours But now they are saying snow mixed with rain.

Ed - I'm not sure what's better. Trying to feed the boys or trying to clothe the girls? Does it even oout? I only have one perspective to work from here. :confused3

Dori

Dori: The older my DSs are getting, the more expensive the clothes are getting! They used to not pay too much attention to their clothes, but that's not the case anymore. lol I'm SURE that they don't spend or care anywhere near as much as girls do, but definitely more than I thought. lol A couple of weeks ago DS16 (he'll be 17 in a few days!) bought a pair of pants that cost $55. I guess compared to girls' clothes it isn't that much, but compared to the Lee jeans I used to buy them, it's a lot. ::yes::

Terry and Dori - I agree. Years ago, my DS didn't pay attention to "name" brands and I could get him cheaper clothes. Now I can't. I think it has something to do with noticing the opposite sex. LOL

Dori--just as I was reading what you wrote, our kitten jumped on top of my "still empty" suitcase and knocked it over. You should have seen her run as the suitcase was falling, I sat here and laughed so hard. This kitten is a trip!!! I crashed and burned about 9:15 last night and I think I woke up about 8 times during the night looking at the clock. I finally gave up and rolled out of bed at 5:20. I'm a big Robin Williams fan, all the way back to his "Mork and Mindy" days!!! :rotfl2:

Hey people--Spring arrives in less than "two hours!!!" :jumping1: At least all we got overnight was some rain, which it is still doing at the moment.

Have a great Sunday everyone, and to those who celebrate, have a "Blessed Palm Sunday."

I just did the egg standing straight up thing and it worked, I'm going to load the photos I took and will post them in a few minutes. The egg stood straight up for about one minute!!!

Well, it worked for me, this was rather cool to see. I know it's only an egg, but it was still fun to watch. It's a shame, but I think this egg will become my breakfast this morning.

Andy, that's cool! Is it something that only happens exactly when spring arrives?? You cracked me up with the "its a shame but I think this egg will be my breakfast" line! :rotfl:

YAY! Spring is officially here! :sunny: :flower: :flower3: :rose: :flower2: :sunny:

It's sunny here right now (8:30am) south of Boston but supposedly we're going to get rain and even possibly some sn*w tonight and into tomorrow. See? I can't even spell it outright anymore, it's such a bad word now. ;)
