BTW, today is my DIS Anniversary! 4 years ago today (hey, there's another "4". LOL) I joined these message boards and posted for the first time. I don't remember my first post but I'm fairly certain that it was over on the Resorts Board!

Darlene: YUM! I LOVE Butterscotch Krimpets! I have never heard of a recipe for them though, I hope you find one!

Tina: I think that's a good idea! I'm really looking forward to all of the little "meets" we'll be having on our cruise, including Palo dinner and/or brunch, on Castaway Cay, the Radisson the night before, etc!

Andy: Congrats on your new tag! Very cool!

I'd love to do WDW in April, but alas, my vacation time is all accounted for in 2005. Maybe next year.

I would take you up on the week for WDW. I just received my annual pass for 2005 and I am trying to figure out when to go but that week I am working.

Guess what? I found the recipe for Butterscotch Krimpets in a book a co-worker's wife had called A Treasury of TOP Secret Recipes. It's a really neat book. Anyway, now I can send the recipe down to DIL so she can bake the cake for DS's return from Iraq. 2 weeks!!!! I cry just thinking about seeing him get off the bus.

Hi Guys

Well we were just about to fall off page 1 so I thought I would just prop us back up again, I hope you are all well. I have had a great week this week, Vicki's school is organising a talent show will all funds raised going to the Tsunami fund. Vicki entered herself into the auditions which were held yesterday playing solo drums and has been accepted, she was then spotted by an all girl band who are performing and they did not have a drummer, so they asked her would she join their band, and after one quick rehersal she auditioned with them and they also got accepted, so she is in the talent contest twice, it will be held on Monday evening and she is so excited. Please keep your fingers crossed for her and this will be her first "live" performance in front of am audience, with a very nervous Mum heading the queue.

Went to see my two god-daughters today in their dance class production of "All things Disney" singing and dancing, They are only 3 and 6 and they were wonderful. Then to top it off Vicki and I went to see Sleeping Beauty on ice this evening at our new Opera House and it was spectacular. When we got there, our seating had been upgraded to a private balcony, as long as we did,nt mind sharing with another family. It was wonderful and I felt like royality sat in the royal box.

Well that has been my week so far, Oh and one more thing my best friend turns 40 in April, so a group of us girls have booked 4 days away in Valencia, flying out on April 28th, so all in all a great week.

We're going to Disneyland to celebrate the 50th Birthday of Disneyland and myself, this coming August!!! We just booked a room for 5 nights at Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel yesterday and we are really looking forward to getting back to Disneyland, it's been 20 years since we were there last. Angelina is all excited about going to Anaheim, the hometown of her idol, Gwen Stefani. You should have seen the expression on Angelina's face when I asked her if she would like to go to Anaheim, it was PRICELESS!!! She is floating on

Ok, now I have been MIA for a bit... I got hit with the pneumonia/bronchitis bug again. if I wasn't flying next week, I wouldnt even call the DR.. but I couldnt take the shortness of breath anymore. I leave for Virginia on Tuesday. Terry, Lynn and Andy I linked our RESERVATIONS and there are 11 of us linked now(I think). and yes, that includes you SUE and GINNY....

Andy, I made out the post cards today... Sorry.. I was to sick to think about writing even. Thank you so much.

Andy: That's exciting to be at Disneyland for it's 50th anniversary celebration. You'll have to come back and tell us all about it. I've been to DL before, about 9 years ago, but haven't been back since.

Doreen: I was wondering where you were! Sorry to hear you're sick I hope you're all better before your trip to VA. When you say that 11 of us are linked, do you mean families/cabins??? How many people all together, I wonder? We'll be quite a group!

Darlene: I'm glad you found the recipe! I can't imagine the anticipation of waiting to see your DS. I'm sure words can't describe it. Does your DS and DDIL live in NJ? Will you be able to be there to greet him?

Good Morning Everyone: The cold my DD had well, I guess wasn't a cold. I finallt took her to the doctor on Thusrday. She had been coughing so much and I was giving her everything under the sun and nothing was working. She has a sinus infection. It was dripping down so much it was making her cough poor thing. She has a nasal spray and is taking Amoxcillin. She said finally a medicine that tastes like "bubble gum". lol I am also giving her Motrin for the headaches. Wow what a difference !! She is already feeling better but have to keep her on meds. for 14 days. Now my DS 14 says yesterday hey Mom can you look in my ear? I look and say what the Heck is this ? How long have you had this Jonathan ? He tells me 2 weeks I have never seen anything like it but is some kind of growth. It is not a black head. It is some kind of lump and it is big. I now will have to call the Doctor and try and get him in on Monday. ( the kids are off) It would have been nice to have gotten a 2 for 1 on Thursday. lol Oh well........That's whats been going on around here.

Sue: That is FANTASTIC news about Vicki. Wish her all the luck.

DOREEN - How horrible! Have you been to the doctor? You don't want to fly not feeling well, that's for sure. Get better SOON.

TERRY - My son should be stepping off the bus on Jan 27th. I would crawl over crushed glass to be there! All I want to do is touch him and my world will be sane again. I have the best DIL in the world. She wants us to make welcome home banners as a family so we will be down there the day before. They won't settle in NJ after his enlistment is up . But they want us to move to FL where they will be . Just think...if we do you will all have someplace to come and visit! Now how do I retire early and still make a living....hmmmmm?

Bobby...OMG, now that you mentioned the Wonder and Magic side by side, I had forgotten about that but thinking about it has made me remember the great time we had, just upset I was so preoccupied at getting off the ship and changing airfare that I didn't enjoy the extra 3 days like we should have.

Doreen...You better take care of yourself, feel better soon. We are early seating, is everyone you are booking late?

Darlene: I can't imagine how excited you are to have your son home. My son just lives in California and I cry everytime he comes home. I am sitting here with tears streaming down my face just thinking about you seeing your son again. I think you should have a countdown time just for that.

Bobby: I can't help with the pictures because all of mine are way too dark also. Sorry.

Tina: My goodness, I hope both of your children are well soon.

Andy: I am jealous, I wish I was going to DL for the 50th Anniversary. I know that is going to be fun.

Darlene: That is great! Please give your DS lots of hugs from us! Tell him that a lot of people are so happy to know that he's home, safe and sound

Bobby: I think I was going to ask John to check out how our video of the Wonder docking next to the Magic turned out. I think I forgot to ask him, way back in the fall. I will ask him this weekend and let you know! If it came good, he can burn it onto a DVD and I can mail it to you.

LYN - I can't write very much about DS because I get very emotional. Most of the time I write and edit it all out. He has been through so much, too much, and it breaks my heart. Thanks for your thoughts!

Darlene...I have an uncle and cousins who live in Spring Hill. They seem to really like it there, they have been there for years now. My cousin is my age with 2 children and her parents (my aunt and uncle) live next door.
