Another member of the car care club here. Earlier in the fall I noticed problems with my power steering. The steering wheel would squeak every time I made a hard turn. And I know that wasn't Mickey Mouse talking to me.
Oh I knew that one was going to be costly. It was.
Plus, we bought out the lease on the car so I had to get new license plates. Well the front plates unscrewed easily but the screws on the rear plate were completely rusted and wouldn't budge. So DH had to rip out the plate.
So when the car was getting serviced I asked to get the rear license plate fixed.
Well - that turned out to be a major problem as the entire rear panel had to be taken off to get access to the housing for the license plate.
Sheesh.
Ed....I don't know what to say. You would think being confined to a leg brace would keep you safe.
Moving your leg in 20 degree increments???? - wow - that was some damage you did.
A month ago I sprained my ankle. Did it at the gym when I was running and tripped and my ankle buckled. I can walk with no problems but still can't run. There's a phyical therapist at my gym and I talked to him yesterday. He said the tendon damage I did will take another month to heal.
DS had a sleepover birthday party on Saturday. We had seven 11-12 year old boys stay over. They pulled an all-nighter. DH and I went to bed around midnight and DH got up at 6:30am to cook the boys breakfast.
Yes, we survived. One broken doorknob, one broken door stopper and one missing VCR remote.
I was listening to the Jets game on Sunday as I was cleaning up and the music being played at Giants stadium was a bunch of songs we heard on
DCL cruises back in 2004 and earlier. That was too funny. Talk about a blast from the past.
