Just got in for lunch, actually I feel quite rested. Angelina is still asleep in her room and Hazel is konked out on the couch with our cat Stefani, LOL!!! At least it is peaceful and quiet in the house, LOL!!!

One thing I forgot to mention last night about our 95% packing being completed, that also includes a spare pair of eyeglasses for me, LOL!!!

For those who know about by August 2003 cruise, you will get a chuckle out of that, LOL!!!

Well, my work week is now officially half over, 1 and 1/2 days down and 1 and 1/2 days to go!!!!!

Sooooo excited here. Only 2 more sleeps. Have a lot to do today - hem DS's pants, pack myself and DH, pay bills. Got up at the crack of dawn because I couldn't sleep. I'm having major exitement and anticipation. Only downside is that I know that next week will go by toooooooo fast.

Very cool, one of the meters I read this morning was nearly the same thing, only it had 6 "1's" not 5 "1's" (111111), it was the first time in the 27+ years of reading meters that I ever came across a reading like that.

We will be leaving Friday at 10:25 am, arriving in Orlando at 12:00pm on SWA.

Started packing some, but will have to do laundry, etc. in order to finish up.

I did some last minute power shopping yesterday to pick up some extra things for DH and of course the only thing that fit was the tie, so back to the mall to return and exchange

Just got back from the gym and DD field hockey practice , now time to shower and get some packing done before I go to get my nails and feet done.

Hopefully we will finish most of the packing by tonight so I can regain some of my sanity before we leave. DH has been working 9-9 everyday so its just a tad nuts around here.

DD aren't inclined to join in on the activities at CC unless anyone has a cattle prode I could borrow but then again they have been known to make a liar out of me so we will see what happens

Mary Jo: I have some Mudslides for the smoothie party.

Andy - Sorry to hear about the rough night. I feel your pain there.

I had a rather rough night myself. Devin laid a bombshell on me at dinner last night about an incident that occurred this last weekend while out camping with his dad. I couldn't sleep last night, because I was (and still am) so mad at his father for the irresposible and immature stunt he pulled that I'm about two inches from revoking his visitation rights. (I won't go into what he did, because this is not the proper venue for it, seeing as this is, at most, a PG-rated site.) I try not to interfere in Devin's relationship with his father, but this time he crossed the line!

We are actually home and we are looking at pics from 2 yrs ago.. wow have the kids grown up!!

I can now say I am done packing.. I think.. Bad news... the SMOOTHIE BLENDERS are on ORDER.. they are not making it anymore so I ordered a case of BLACKBERRY and RASPBERRY.. and has anyone every tried RED CAT WINE?? I am brining that too....and a CORK SCREW kit... WHAOO!!!!

I just made luggage tags out of lime green paper and a luggage tag kit. I need something to tell mine apart from all the other black luggage out there. Although, with all the DIS'ers travelling to Florida, chances are there will be more lime green on peoples luggage than I've ever seen in my life

Is the tequilla tasting still being offered on the Magic? DH is definitely interested.

Fortunately, Devin and I get along fabulously. He talks to me about pretty much everything. (The battle on our side, as parents, is to make it safe and comfortable for them to talk to us.) Things have escalated some and his father and I ended up in a nasty fight today, but I know for a fact that I am in the right this time. It has upset Devin some, but I have talked to him about it and the fact that what his father did was absolutely unacceptable. I reminded him that it is my job as a Mom to jump in and fight some of these battles for him. He has decided that he doesn't want to go see his father tonight. His dad won't get a chance to see him until after the cruise now.

Please don't say anything about this to Devin, guys! He is a sensitive soul and would be upset with me for sharing/venting.

This is really a duplicate post....but since I hate empty posts, I'll ramble on as usual.

I am in the midst of working/packing/entertaining. My DH's in-laws were here for a few days after their Alaska Cruise. We drove to Vancouver, British Columbia to pick them up on Sunday. Phew! glad they are gone so I can seriously get back to packing. My DH took them to the airport this morning.

There is no way I'm going to fit everything in the four bags I had hoped for. We were hoping for minimal carry on (one small carryon and three small backpacks) and so I guess we'll have more than 4 bags to check. Oh well. We don't have any monster sized bags (not that you can pack them full and be under the 50 lb. limit anyway)....but I think I'll be able to fill 5-6 medium suitcases. That snorkeling gear!!...those shoes!!...that formal wear!!...just think how much space we could save if we could wear beach attire to dinner....
