Terry: I also made my first few attempts at making magnets. I made a POC one but pretty much the whole magnet is the POC logo. I like yours it looks great!

I have been feeling pretty creative lately too. I actually made a magnetic door sign that says "Pirates in the Caribbean" (got the idea from the creative dis signs board. And I also made a solar flare shirt, its a lime green Mickey head and it came out really cute. It was easy, just flour, water, paint and the sun!

I've had my creative moments lately too. This last weekend I went and bought a bunch of beads to make necklaces/earrings to wear on the formal and semi-formal nights. I have made one set already, but am missing a couple of items I need to make the second one. I'm hoping to stop by the craft store and get them on the way home from my dinner date tomorrow. (Before anyone asks... Yes, I'm still seeing the same guy. Things are going well, but we are taking it slow, which is fine by me.)

Good morning everyone.. It loks like it was a busu day here yesterday. Thanks for all the well wishes for ELAINE. She was up with their friends all day on SUNDAY and kept me informed.. Its tough to loose a good friend..

As you can see I am up at 2am.. lucky me..

My son is back from BOY SCOUT CAMP.. he looks great and the stories he is telling.. I dont think he was quite for a minute yet..lol Is anyone here an EAGLE SCOUT?? If so, I have to talk to you about these silly songs they learn...
Tonight he has first football practice of the season.. Dont they know his momma has to pack for a cruise>>

We brought the luggage upstairs yesterday and beleive it or not we have so much room .. I have to be missing something.. i know its still a wk away but its really empty ...and besides the daily things I have to put in there that morning.. WOW I did good.. and I have 5 prs of shoes and 2 purses..

LINDA? did you get another storm on MONDAY AFTERNOON?? the power went out at SWEATHEART CORNER... and I guess it was quite a mess there.. We had power.. ( a first) but the winds were nasty again.

Morning Everyone,

Some sad news from this side of the water. My uncle died last night, whcih was a bit of a shock to all of us. He was dying of cancer but had been in great spirits over the past weeks.

I will be off the board for the next couple of days but should be back in work on Friday.

As many have said already, I really need this holiday!

Yes Terry............making door signs can be a lot of work. Deciding what you want on the sign is the hardest part. My DD asked me make to make a sign for her. We can use it on this cruise and "08. It has a favorite photo of her on CC walking away with Pluto hand-in-hand. Lucky gal.

Tina - congrats on the agility. I started agility with our 2 beagles this summer. It is just for fun, we enjoy it and the dogs love it.

Anna - I sent you a PM.

Sue: That's what I said to myself. The breeder really talked me into taking agility. I find it addicting now. DANTE knows when we are going and gets very excited. Dante has always been the smallest & youngest dog in every class !!!




Lori: We don't have any outside equipment. Dante is treated well special then other dog. I hear all the time how crazy I am with him..........Dante just started occ. to go " outside " in the real world. He is strictly an indoor dog. I trained him to go in a potty box on non-print paper. He drinks out of a bottle only and it's purified water. The bottle contraption hooks up to the playpen, yes I said playpen that we built for him. His has 1/4 of the family room. He has a childs bin for all of his toys for which I am currently training for him to pick up and put away. So far he can take them all out and put on floor. He does this everyday. I could go on & on.

Doreen: I ONLY get blamed for the weather remember ??? Dante is going to get a special surprise and pick out anything he wants at pet store today, well besides another puppy. I will even buy brewster something so he's not feeling left out.
