Diane - will you be in Disney 8/19? When will you be there and where are you staying?

I had a bridal shower to go to today. Then I came home and went to the Cherry Hill Mall because Lindsay said she didn't have anything to wear under her gown for graduation. (She has tons of clothes). Got there 1/2 hour before they closed. Harley went down the shore (Wildwood) for the weekend.

Hi Bev! Sounds like you had a busy day! Unfortunately I have school on 8/20 so Mike (Bob) is picking me up from school & we are heading right to the airport. We will be visiting family down there for a few days & then heading to POP on 8/23 for 6 nts. We will be back just in time for the kids to start back to school. boo hoo!!!

Good morning everyone - here it is Mon morn already
Oh well at least now we can say "next wk is summer" "next wk the kids get out of school" and "this wk DH goes away"
DHs car window isnt going up - gotta get that fixed before he drives car to airport Wed night. Poor guy has to leave here at 2am for a 6am flight. He's 1 of America's Most Wanted (not really but he is on some type of security list, has that common name) and needs to checkin 3hrs before flight leaves instead of the usual 2.

Angelina starts her final week of school (for this year) today!!!
She has full days on M-Tu-W, then half days on Th-F.

Hi everyone,

My good news is Lindsay's graduation is tonight.
My bad news is my baby's graduation is tonight. This means she's growing up. (And I 'm getting old). Harley graduated last year. No more babies in the house.

Went for pre-admission testing. My surgery is scheduled for Friday. Don't know what time yet. I'm okay as long as I don't think about it.

Gotta get back to work. Hope everyone has a great day.

Hello Everyone I only read some of the past posts quickly so if I miss anyone I am sorry.

Bev: Congrats on Lindsay I know it will also be sad, what are her plans? Your not that old. I say that because we are around the same age. Sending pixie for Friday. I will be thinking of you.

Ed: Hope you ankle is feeling better. I haven't had my eyes checked in 3 years. I know I need another prescription.............It's on my list of to do things.

Lyn: You must be so excited with your up-coming plans. Nice to hear good news. Enjoy the visit with your DS.

Andy: Angelina must be excited. My kids still have another week. It is sooooooo warm here and they don't have cool air at the school.

Doreen: Thanks for letting us know about Marty. Will continue to have in our thoughts. How are you holding up? Take care of yourself.

Terry: Did you get some rest yet? Did you use regular hooks to put up the bass guitar? That is an awesome idea. I think I want to do that in Jonathan's room.

Now to update me, The last couple of days has been really long and busy for me. I am now getting ready to take a well needed nap. Short story........Brooke had dance rehearsal Thurs. Friday and recital on Saturday. We were there 9 hours. We had girls day on Sunday. I took her to see Madegascar? I know I didn't spell that right. It was o.k then took her shopping for some summer clothes. I have been in pain on and off and when it's a good day I tend to overdue. This morning was my Cat Scan and am a little closer to find out what's wrong. They of course didn't tell me anything. I will find out on Monday. I wasn't prepared to drink a huge amount of YUCKY stuff when I got to the hospital. On the container ( I had to drink 2 of them) It said BERRY SMOOTHIE. It was no berry smoothie. I also had an IV put in to release a dye. Enough said about that don't want to give TMI. I am sure I will feel a little better after a nap.

8more days till summer officially begins, 9more days till Jon's out of school
18more days till our first summer mini-vaca, 38more days till we head to our NH beach vacation
and 61 more days till WDW !

Hi everyone

Well my baby Lindsay graduated High School tonight. It was exciting and emotional. I'm so glad the weather held up since graduation was held outside on the football field. We went out to dinner afterwards and some of her friends were also at the restaurant. Where does the time go? It sure flew by fast. It seems like yesterday Harley and Lindsay were babies and with a blink of an eye, they're 19 and 17 1/2. Everyone with young children - enjoy them now and cherish every minute because before you know it - they will be grown up. You might not grow up, but they will lol

So how hot will it be in FL in Aug? Much hotter than its been here in MA? I dont know if I can do it! Looking forward to getting 20degrees lower the next few days - ahhh 70s here we come

Barb it will be real warm but nothing like it will be on our cruise next year. Now that's hot !!

Tina: I hope you felt better after your nap yesterday. Sometimes these "procedures" are quite unpleasant. Are you feeling any better today?? I hope you get some real answers on Monday.

Bev: I know how you feel; kids really do grow up too fast. When they're younger the time doesn't seem to fly as fast, but once they hit high school, it's over before you know it!

Lindsay: CONGRATS!!

3 weeks from right now we'll be at Logan Airport in Boston, waiting to board our flight to Florida!! I can't wait.

This afternoon I'll be having the biopsy done. This morning I'll be out with some friends from my congregation, so hopefully I won't be thinking about it too much until it's time to actually go.

Barb: These temps have been crazy! I wish it would rain and break this heat and humidity. In the meantime, my DH has the house as cold as a meat locker. lol

We're going up to 94 today with a heat index around 102 or higher. After working out in this heat and humidity yesterday, I came home and crashed on the living room sofa, I think I'll be doing the same today after work.

As a veteran of multiple Aug trips, let me say,
it will be hot and humid. Now the good news, everything is open late, and the AC in the attractions work very well.

You go early in the day, afternoon head back to the room and use the pool,
At night you can return to the parks. Take it slow and enjoy yourself.
Its a vacation, no need to rush.

That's how I survive Aug in WDW.
