This thing with cars must be catching.

Today as Beth was pulling out of a parking space, the front bumber fell (ripped) off the car.


It seams the front edge got caught on one of the concrete stops at the end of a parking space. Next thing you know the whole bumber is lying on the ground.

No one was hurt and the car is driveable, Tormorrow we take in it to see if it can be reattached or if a new bumper must be ordered.

Hazel and I just returned home from the auto body shop after collecting all our personal itmes from the Neon, we also had a private farewell service while we were there, LOL!!! I forgot to mention the other day, we even lost our silver glittery Mickey antenna topper in the accident. We also found out today that the value of the car was a little over $2,000 less than what we still owe on it. We didn't know anything about Gap insurance before, but we sure do now. I guess we'll be car shopping over the weekend.

Now for some good news, all the packages went out in the morning mail. I had Hazel meet me at the post office with the packages before lunch and got them on their way. The postal clerk said the next time I do this to him on a Monday morning, he was "going to..........................." sorry, this is a family board and I can't repeat what he said to me!!!

Doreen, thanks so much for the movie list... we cannot WAIT to see Pirates of the Carribean 2 - it's not on release here until later in the year.

Film premiere on here tomorrow in Cork of "The Wind that Shakes the Barley" - winner of the Cannes Festival... really looking forward to seeing it when on general release... LOVE Cillian Murphy!

Yes!!! I've never played golf myself, except for putt-putt(minature golf), but I always enjoy watching it on TV, especially on lazy Sunday afternoons, LOL!!! I nearly fell out of my chair yesterday watching Phil on that 18th hole, I felt so bad for him.

I'll probably be watching the Ryder Cup when that is on as well. I also enjoy watching the British Open.

BUSY here trying to tie up loose ends. I got my DOWNY wrinkle release that i found about last cruise thankd to LYNN>>> and a whole bunch of other trial size things. The thinkg about the trial size is... they cost just as much as some of the regular size things though...

Stan and I had the most beautiful cruise to Bermuda over Memorial Day week. Just what we needed.

Sandy is wonderful. Just a brag: she got staight A's on her report card and blew away her national standardized test score with a 98. Brains AND beauty! She has agreed to go parasailing with me on Castaway Cay for her birthday. Can't wait!

How are the kids? Will we recognize them? They are all growing so much.

Hope all is well! We are really getting excited here about the cruise and we are starting full blown trip planning mode. Trying to get all those little things that I keep adding to my list here and there so we aren't making a mad dash the week before. I really want to be prepared for this trip well ahead of time.

We live in a large township that is served by 7 different post offices, my area of the township is just a little community that is served by one of those post offices. Not to worry, we always get our mail, it's the other delivery services(UPS, FedEx, etc...) we sometimes have trouble with. Did you send the package by the USPS?

I just this on another post that these might be the movies on the cruise AUG 9th.. I am not sure if that is on the WONDER or not.. I like the PIRATES.. and CARS...

And on the topic of movies, I'm really hoping they show Pirates of the Carribean 2 ! My DS is dying to see it, but I'm putting him off, telling him he can most likely see it on the boat. His DD wants to see it too, probably more than him (I think she has a thing for Johnny Depp) but at 4, I think she's too young. On the cruise, I can keep her busy with something else!

I am expecting to see POC 2 movie on board..I saw the 1st POC on the Magic so i have to start a tradition!!!
