Happy Father's Day!!!!!

We're looking at highs of 96 today here in NJ. So DH said we'll just head to the town pool this afternoon and barbecue later tonight.

No days at WDW after the cruise for us. We're also spending some vacation time at the Jersey shore this summer before the cruise.

Buddy Bear, I'm always amazed at how many people from NJ drive to Florida. It takes us 6 hours to drive to Vermont in the winter to ski and that's about my limit sitting in the car.

We have a stretch limo

taking us to Polynesian after the cruise.

Karen, you are welcome to come with us because it's a 10 passenger limo, so we'll have plenty of room, and then you'd only need to get to Pop Century from there.

We are staying at Universal Studios Hard Rock Hotel before the cruise. No Disney after though. Just jumping in the car and heading home. Both of the boys have to start school that Monday.

Congrats to all the SENIORS this yr as well.. We had a party yesterday to go to.. It was HOT>> today was 96 here. We had a cookout here for my dad and Marty with delecious strip steaks.. hmmmm they were so good... we had to eat inside with the a/c.. best investement besides the pool I ever did..i did take a quick dip after everyone left this evening. I am hoping tomorrow is just is nice.

Moira,

In the U.S., Mother's Day is fixed as the second Sunday in May. I have English relatives and Mother's Day in England is "Mothering Sunday" which is tied to the Lenten calendar (I believe the first Sunday after Ash Wednesday).

I know there's more to the story - hopefully others can chime in if I'm not 100% right.

So Mothering Sunday varies each year.

We are heading to BCV for a week following the cruise. We normally go back to school before labor day, but not this year! I am so excited to be extending our vacation for a week following the cruise!!!

We are heading to SSR on Friday & I have a ton of stuff to do before we go including a homework assignment, PTO stuff, packing, etc. so I doubt I'll be on much!

I just this on another post that these might be the movies on the cruise AUG 9th.. I am not sure if that is on the WONDER or not.. I like the PIRATES.. and CARS...

I know I haven't been around much lately but the one time I try to get on the Dis..........the server is too busy try again later? I would like to thank Bev, Terry, Doreen, Karen for the
Moria, I know we would have talked if we lived closer together. The time is just flying by soooo fast, I can't believe we are in single digits for weeks already ! I will be the first one to say that after planning for 2 years I don't have enough time to pack. I will try and get caught up a little bit, some of it was caught up by phone.

Andy: When I saw the pictures in the email, my first thought was oh my gosh I hope everyone was o.k. So glad nobody else was sitting on that side of car. I hope Hazel is o.k It took a long time for me to even drive after I had my accident years ago.

I am so excited I ordered 2 tickets to see my all time fav singer - Barbra Streisand when she starts her tour right here in Philly on 10/4. I've always wanted to see her. Tickets go up to $1800.00 per person. I bet it will sold out (even with those prices). I was able to get an advance purchase - tickets go on sale Monday.
