We got the most exciting parcel I have ever received in my life today.
Let me start by saying that the family we were so LUCKY to get as out cruise exchange buddies provided a Christmas atmosphere better than any that Scrooge could have provided to Tiny Tim on Christmas morn
It was that good! And I do not exaggerate!
We got
.
Captain Mickey and Minnie soft toys, plus two Mickey standing characters to welcome us to our first cruise
Two Flower Leis, for our stay in the Polynesian and for our Caribbean cruise
A bottle of bubbles for our sail away party
Misting fans (next to impossible to get here) for the heat (and well need it, we are whiter that milk bottles here!)
Little Mermaid Sunscreen fantastic idea for the rays!
A waterproof camera, for all the pool pictures and
Castaway Cay pics too!
A Lime green Antennae topper in the shape of Mickey.. never seen in Ireland before and as well as being the DISer colour, its our national colour too!
Sand pails and shovels for Caoimhe to use at the beaches
she LOVES them.. and they are a perfect size for packing..
Red and Blue Mickey pens. These will be used by John and Moira in work to remind us of the upcoming trip!
Pink embroidered baseball cap with silver sparkle princess tiara and the words Always a Princess on it;
Tinkerbelle Purple Sunglasses for the long sunny days we are expecting!
Disney Cruise Line DVD older version but absolutely fantastic (Doreen, thank you so much for ordering the DVD and offering to post it to us). We were glued to it for over an hour!
A pack full of brochures, on The Polynesian (including their newsletter), and brochures on lots of the parks.
A lovely letter (2 pages long) detailing the fantastic effort our family put into this gift. Truly spectacular.
Caoimhe is currently standing in front of me with a pail in one hand, shovel in the other, baseball cap on head, glasses on eyes, Mickey under one arm, Minnie under the other and her mother has tears streaming down her face as she types this! Generosity like this does not come along everyday, and to say Im flabbergasted is putting it mildly. We are one happy family here today!
Thank You to our family, you know who you are!
