Pouring rain here today and really chilly....parts of PA had snow....when I pulled into the parking garage today, there were several cars covered with snow.

Since SNOW is a four letter, nasty word in my book, why doesn't my filter at work filter that out??? I really hate to see winter coming.

Glad to hear that your knee is better Andy...unfortunately, getting back to work just when the weather is turning nasty could be tricky...just watch your footsteps and be careful. Mary Jo

Funny, the filter works when I type s*** and i** :cold:

No No no none of that Sn*w talk now.

I still have way to many leaves on the trees,

Andy glad knee is showing improvement.
Well its still a long way off, so by next Aug I suspect they will have some of those docks rebuilt. Concrete flotation turns out those docks quickly, its just a matter of how much time will it take to clean up the town area.

Doreen - yes I have you down for the king bed suite. I have everyone else that responded to me, also. All I need now are names. These prices will be guaranteed. How are you feeling?

For anyone else interested in staying at the Radisson at Port Canaveral the night before the cruise, please let me know. I have blocked rooms for the Cruisin Castaways (and anyone else who is cruising 8/19/06). The prices are : standard room $129 & tax; 1 king bed suite $169 & tax; 2 king beds suite $189 & tax. Just PM me with the kind of room you would like and your name. I have standard and 1 king suites available but only 2 2 king bed suites left.

Terry - take care.

Hi Y'all!

Just back this week from MNSSHP - Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. This was a second annual "adults only" jaunt w/ my Mom, Sis, BIL, cousin and friend...although I did bring oldest son Josh this year for his 13th bday.

With Wilma coming we of course had one eye on the weather the whole time, but lucked out pretty well with the timing of the daily rainstorms. The MNSSHP fireworks were EXCELLENT this year! :maleficen

We women folk were supposed to be Vegas showgirls, but our costumes (t-shirts with semi-clad bodies) turned out to be more risque than I had been led to believe....we got more than our share of comments, double takes and laughs! Not very Disney-esque, but on the other hand, have you seen some of those outfits worn by Ariel and Jasmine...? :rolleyes1 :teeth:

We stayed quietly in our Port Orleans hotel room Monday morning while the outer bands of Wilma pounded away...we were able to fly out later that afternoon. Epcot and MK opened around 2pm that day, the other parks were closed.

With MNSSHP '05 past, it's time to turn my attn to August's DoubleDip!! 43 weeks, did you say???!!! :jumping1: :thewave:

Thanks for your report Jen, sounds like you had a good time, despite Wilma paying a visit. Almost 42 weeks now, but Terry will be doing her "official weekly post" for us on Friday!!!

I just finished watch Mary Poppins a short while ago. I know this might sound a bit corny, but it was 10 years ago today that we buried my gram. It was my gram who took my mother, sister and I to Philadelphia back in 1964 to see Mary Poppins. It was the very first Disney movie that I saw at a movie theatre. I remember it being near Christmas, because after the movie, we did some Christmas shopping in Philadelphia before heading home. What a wonderful memory I have of that day!!! I miss you gram!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OK, where is that box of tissues?

What a lovely memory to share! :lovestruc

MP is one of my top favorite movies! The first pin I traded for last week was a Mary Poppins pin. :cloud9:

I was a little busy today and purchased Hazel, Angelina and I costumes for the "Pirates IN the Caribbean Night" party. With Hazel being just 4' 7" it was a lilttle hard to find a costume that she liked, but we finally did find one. Now I just have to see what my mom wants to do about getting a costume. This evening should be a lot of fun. I hope we have a lot of our DIS'er family join in the Pirate Night pirate: fun!!!

:sunny: 42 weeks to go!!! :boat:

Have a great weekend everyone! John and I are off to Disney World later today!!!   ::MickeyMo ::MinnieMo

Hi everyone -

Andy, we'll probably be wearing some kind of costume for Pirate's night. Do they have a Pirate's night on the 3 day cruise?

Terry - I hope you are feeling better. Hope you and John have a great time.

Hope everyone has a great Friday.

Bev
