Calling All 8/19/06 Special Western Cruisers! AKA "The Cruisin' Castaways" Part 2

Well I wen't to the doctor's then came home and took a nap. She gave me a prescription for Corticosteroids. It is a topical cream. She would give me other stuff but can't because of the colonscopy. She believes it is an allergic reaction to something but just doesn't know to what. She also said it has nothing to do with the sunburn. I am already peeling and that's a sign of healing. If the cream doesn't help I am to call back on Tuesday. My headache hasn't gone away since I got it last night. She told me I CAN"T TAKE anything for it. I will just be happy when this is all over with. I am done working in the yard for awhile also. When I have good days I will just rest.

Terry & Darlene: Thanks for thinking of me tomorrow, however while I am going through the prep stuff I will be thinking that you guys are thinking of me. Don't think about it to much. Either I or Chuck will post something on Friday.

Darlene - our continued prayers for Stan (and you and Sandy of course). Please keep us posted as to how he is doing. We need him healthy and I cant think of a better thing to celebrate on the repo cruise.

I will drink to that! I spoke with his surgeon tonight and he sounds confident.

My son settles on his house in Lakeland on July 30th. It's a nice house for them to start out in. It's only 2 years old. How goes your househunting? What do you think of the school systems? You know I am moving vicariosly through you, right?

We dropped off Stan's presciption for the "drink". He can't even say the name without making a face. He requested lemon-lime and they probably don't have it. What flavor did you choose?

Just remember that it is all worth it in the end. Here's a from all of us. It's hard to rest but I am glad you decided to try it. Stan is learning.

The pharmacy only had 2 choices. Since I have to drink 2 at 2 different times I got one of each. Plain and Ginger-lemon. I wish it was Saturday !!

TINA.. good luck today.. I have had the test as well.. and My 6'4" uncle had it yesterday and doesnt remember a thing.. they gave him VERSED and he was OUT COLD...lol The prep is worse than the test itself... You will be fine...

I am a fan of pre-arranged marriages. No one in my family would have chosen my first husband. I would love to choose DS #1 and DS #2's marriage partners. DS #3 made an excellent choice, but he is exceptional.

This will be a long engagement, but just think of the beautiful wedding on Castaway Cay with all your cruisin' friends.

We just arrived home a little bit ago from seeing the oral surgeon. Angelina will be having surgery on Tuesday July 19th to have her four wisdom teeth removed. We told the surgeon our vacation was August 13th, so we got the next available date for surgery, he wanted to make sure Angelina had at least two weeks to heal before us going away.

I'm hoping I can get the Synvisc injections ASAP, I had to take today off because my knee was so sore this morning it hurt to put any weight on it. I had to use my cane when we went to see the oral surgeon this afternoon. Oh, the joys of aging, NOT!!!

Anyhow, have a nice and safe holiday weekend everyone!!!

Last Sept I had 2 female procedures done a month before we left for WDW. Good thing too - once I returned to work my stitches broke and I had to have my laporoscopy site cortorized!

I made it 1/2way through my packing list. If I cant do it now how will I handle when our trips get closer?

Hello EVERYONE.. well I am at house #1 for dog sitting.. I have 3 total for the weekend and I have 2 of them till the 16th of JULY.. It will help pay for the new washer I got last night.. WAHOOO!!!! One good thing about dog sitting is that DANIEL can come with me if needed.. 2 of the homes are in the same area.. but with the price of gas , YIKES>>>

TERRY. I ended up getting the KENMORE ELITE... ht3 4 3po rtd2 what ever it is..lol its so cool...I did 2 loads today and the clothes came out so dry. If you guys could see me trying to carry the clothes from my old washer outside you would think I was crazy. It wasnt spinning out anymore. So the towels, esp were so heavy and I didnt want to ruin my newer dryer...( its a MAYTAG and its still failry new). The new washer dried them so much better, I hardly had to put them in the dryer after all,,lol Thanks for the insight TERRY and JOHN.... It even came with a DVD.. talk about technology....

TINA.. where are you, how did today go.. are you ok??

ANDY..I hope Angelina will be better in time for your vacation.. thats the day after my Bday .. but dont tell anyone.

Hey TERRY and DARLENE>. KAREN just made a point.. we can have this pre-arranged wedding at CASTAWAY CAY,and there is a free BUFFET for the guests unlimited SODA,iced teas, H2O and of course SMOOTHIES, as long as GINNY doesnt still all the ice again....
OMG i cant wait til this cruise come up. We need to get together soon.. I need a DIS FIX with you guys soon...

I think the next reunion cruise should be in August of 2008. That was suppose to be my wedding but thats over with now so i think the best thing to get my mind off that date is to have a reunion cruise with our disfriends . How's that sound?
