Darlene, we went to the Gloucester County Animal Shelter in Clayton.


It is now official, due to some disturbing news that I received this afternoon at work, I have cancelled the 8-19-06 cruise. I'd rather not go into detail here with what transpired, but this much I can say, "I'm not a happy camper this afternoon."

Marty will be glad to hear that.. I forgot your still going on this cruise as well.. we originals are going down in numbers.. we have to make sure our new friends stay on board... That is what I am afraid of,, Whatif we get off in FT LAUDERDALE again.. and he misses he 1pm appointment.. we are not sure if we should do that or not.

MELODY we will miss not meeting you and your little family. I'm glad you were able to pick up a shorter cruise and not cancel all together. Maybe we can all get together before the cruise at WDW. That would be nice.

Since our cruise leaves on a Sunday, we're planning on Thursday and Friday evenings at WDW and then Saturday night at Port Canaveral.

Not sure where we're staying at WDW yet, but hoping to get a good AP BRP room -- perhaps AKL or WL.

Andy - I'm so bummed that you aren't going to make it. I was looking forward to meeting you and your family. I hope our paths manage to cross sometime in the future.

Doreen - Devin and I are still going. My vacation for that week was just recently approved.

Bev - Just a heads up, but after looking into airline tickets for this trip I may have to cancel our reservation at the Raddison the night before the cruise. Since we are traveling cross-country, the earliest we could reach the Orlando airport that day is around 7 PM. By the time we could get our luggage and travel to the Raddison, it would be close to bedtime and we wouldn't have much time to hang out with you guys. I will let you know what I decide.

But don't worry gang, I'll be there for the cruise, come Hell or high water!!!!

I'm getting ready to travel to Frankfort, KY for 10 days for work. I'm looking forward to it. I will be leaving Devin in the capable hands of his father and my mother, so I don't have to worry about him. I will be there over the three day weekend and plan to spend it in one of two ways: either meeting up with a friend that lives in North Carolina or hanging around the hotel sleeping late and reading a few good books. The best part of it is - no cooking, no cleaning and not having to deal with anyone's 'stuff' but mine, for ten whole days. That will be a luxury!

We took a long weekend trip to stay with my son and his wife and visit with my other son. We had a great time. Guess what? I'M GOING TO BE A GRANDMA!!!!

Now I have to find a way to split myself in two and be in Florida all the time.

Our sons are only going-on-18 and going-on-15, and John already can't wait for grandkids, so we can take them to Disney World. I hope it will be many, many, MANY years from now! LOL In the meantime, I've been enjoying the fact that the boys are old enough to leave at home (they don't really have an interest in WDW at this point. lol), John and I are planning our second adults-only trip to WDW for this May. Actually younger DS *might* join us, we're leaving the decision up to him. I bet Sandy will be the BEST Aunt, ever!!!

Hi everyone! We booked this cruise back in April 2005, but ended up cancelling due to conflicts with school starting dates. We booked a December 2006 cruise instead.

Well, now my son is going to a different school, so the dates won't conflict. I have also been feeling like December 2006 is just far away. I was checking out some summer cruises, but the prices have gone up SO much!

Then, the other day I got an e-mail froma travel agent offering a huge discount on one stateroom on the August 19, 2006 cruise. So, I booked it!! We are back on the cruise, and you don't need to add me to the list because we're still on there!

We are SO looking forward to this!! See you all in a few months!

Wow, I had a lot of email to catch up on. Last Friday I got so sick that I was on bedrest.. Well Saturday I was off to the hospital and came home last evening.. I had my first experience with DIVERTICULITES and get this a HEART ATTACK of the BOWEL.. so no spicey foods for me!!

Can't even eat reg food yet,.. just pudding and 4 oz of fld at a time.. Maybe I need this cruise now instead of AUGUST>>!!!

Well... just checking in.. back to bed to rest.. take care..

Gee, Doreen, glad you are home and feeling better. Take care of yourself, No you don't want to cruise now, food is the best part. So wait a few months and get back to normal first.
