I have noticed that a lot of people are going to Disney this year to celebrate their 40th birthday - either they turned 40 last year and are going belatedly (like me) or they will be turning 40 this year.

So this thread is a roll call for all us born in 1968 or 1969. Sign in and say "Hi".

If you will be celebrating your 40th at Disney (either Disneyland or Walt Disney World), let us know! Maybe you can meet other DISers during your trip!!

Birth date: May 13, 1968 (celebrating my 40th birthday a year late )
Visiting: WDW - May 12th - May 19th!

Hi! I'll be turning 40 on August 4th. No plans for Disney yet, but I did get to go two weeks ago (and am trying to win one of the $1 hotel rooms this week on last minute travel)! And, so I don't forget, happy early birthday!

I'm celebrating early too, my birthday is 11th July (1969) but my trip is 7th to 14th May - I'm not great when it's too hot so no way could I go June or July. May is perfect for me

I am writing in for DH who turns 40 this year. His birthday is 10-5-69 and mine is 10-16-71 so although I do not qualify per say we are planning on going some time in that window.

We will not be bringing the boys (17 and 14)

Hi there, and a Happy 40th to all those celebrating that milestone Birthday this year!

I am right there with you, and WILL be celebrating at WDW with my oldest sister!! We may have my other older sister along, and hopefully some friends too!! The more the merrier, but if it ends up just being Anne and I, it will be a BLAST too!!

My B-day is the 23rd of October.... we are arriving at WDW (staying in a Pirate room at CBR) early on the 20th, and departing the evening of the 24th to head back home! It will be so much fun to be at WDW on my actual birthday..... I will be proudly wearing my Birthday Button the entire trip though!!

For my Birthday meals, we will breakfast with the princesses at Akershus, and we are having dinner at the Kona Cafe!

I cannot WAIT... it's going to be SO much fun!

Woo hoo! A trip without the kiddos

I'm leaving my two sons at home this time too! My oldest (20) was upset about not going until he realized that he and his brother would have the house to themselves. I'm really trying not to think about it

I arrive the day before my birthday and will be spending 8 glorious days at WDW!!!

Clare and I will be having breakfast with Pooh on my birthday and then we will have dinner at Le Cellier with some more DISers!! I am sooooo excited!

Thanks! Magic Kingdom is my favorite park and I love Pooh so CP was an easy choice for my birthday breakfast.

I have never been to Le Cellier but I've heard so much about it, that I wanted to try it! I was lucky to find some other DISers who were going and I asked to tagalong.

Oh, I forgot! We are going to end the evening at Jellyrolls!! Another first for me

My birthday is May 10, 1969. I was lucky enough to spend my 39th bday at WDW. This year it's an anniversary trip (17 years!), so I have to wait til Sept.
