Called today and booked BWV for Oct. food and wine....

Yippie!!! I own at SSR but was told staying at Boardwalk is a must in October during Food and Wine festival. Just booked a 4 night stay in a one bdrm preferred view. As stated, I own at SSR and stayed there in March (LOVED IT!). I look forward to staying at each resort as I am sure they will each offer a unique experience. Lastly, Should I make a request on the room????? I requested non-smoking and was told I had a "prefered view" room-whatever that is????

I wouldn't make a request for a specific room. We've stayed in a preferred view facing the Village Green/Boardwalk area and it was so close to the elevators and I liked watching the action on the parts of the boardwalk that we could see. Preferred views also include views of the pools or the canal.
