Called about AKL for 9/2-9/8 was told 100% booked??????

I was just curious with all the people that are transfering out of the AKL due to construction, if they would have availablity for the week of our stay 9/2-9/8. I was told they were all booked with no more rooms?

It is probably the reservation system blocking out AKL from being booked during that time frame. To the reservation CMs, it looks like it's booked up.

If they are forcing people to move because of construction I wouldn't think they'd be putting new people into those rooms.

I would guess you are correct, because I was not given a choice I was told that there is no longer a room avilable for me at AKL that I would have to choose a different resort. That is leading me to believe they do not want any one in these rooms.

The guests are being removed from the rooms, though right now just through the 1st.

Remember that there are going to be less rooms now too, now that all the deluxe rooms are going to DVC.
