We got a call from DVC, it said so on our caller ID. They basically chit chatted about being there for us if needed, and then asked if we were happy with our guide. They also asked if we wanted a different guide. We said no. They then transferred the phone to our guide who was right there.
She asked how we were, never mentioned buying more points, or any type of sales pitch. We mentioned we are using our points at DLR rather than WDW because there is more going on at DLR. We told her how much we love the VGC, but how difficult it is to book there. She agreed that there are only 50 units which makes booking specific dates frustrating. And that was it.
In retrospect it seemed like our guide was being reviewed, or tested, almost like she got complaints and they were cold calling her clients with her sitting right there. She's been our guide since 2003, and we have always had a great relationship with her.

How uncomfortable with her sitting right there.
