Call from Disney to confirm ADR....

I was surprised to have a phone message from Disney for me to call them about my AKL Boma reservation. They wanted to confirm the ADR with me. Is this common? I will call tomorrow and see what's up.

Several people have posted this during the last month. It doesn't seem to be common, just occasional, maybe when they're overbooked and hoping to recover some tables.

I have booked Boma many times since it opened and have never had a call from central reservations. I hope that they did not overbook and are looking for people who want to cancel. I wish you the best

I called this morning and Boma Hostess just wanted to confirm that our party of 9 was still planning to dine on our date and time. Someone mentioned that they might have overbooked and were just confirming all ADRs. That was correct! That is what they told me. At least I know I will be fine.

I got this call also. We are a group of 9 with an ADR on Dec. 15th at 4:40. Hope there are no problems when we get there. I have already copied my confirmation numbers and put them in my pack. Melissa

There was a definite cue when we were at Boma on Sept. 2nd. Be prepared if you have to wait a bit; its the holiday season, so be cheery. I took my nephew out to the playground and viewing spot just past the pool. The pagers work all around the pool area. If your ADR is really close to open, I'd probably show early. That way at least you're not waiting for anyone to get up so you can be seated.
