California Screamin'

Heya,
2 years ago I went to disneyland California and I didn't have the gutts to go on California Screamin'. So I said next time I go to disneyland California I'll definitely go, so I'm going to disney in the summer and even though going on the ride will probably scare me to death I know I should go on it for the experience and if I don't go on this year I know I'll regret it. So anyone been on California Screamin'?? Is it as bad as it looks?

I don't think it's scary at all! It's very smooth. What scares you about it? The upside down part or the speed, height?

yeah, i am the same way...my grandparents live really close and i have never ever had the guts to try it but i think i am going to this summer *gulps loudly*

Its just fine with me. Not nearly as bad as it looks.

ETA: One of my favorite rides next to the sun wheel and the maliboomer.

It's alright. It definitely doesn't match up to Six Flags Magic Mountain's roller coasters. The beginning of the ride...you may be shocked!

I went on it when I was in Disneyland back in January and I liked it. It was probably my second favorite ride at California Adventure (aside from Tower Of Terror). It's not really as bad as it looks. I've been on much more intense roller coasters in my life.

Ok Honestly. Splash Mountain scares me more. I always get scared going on Splash Mountain and always will. But I love it too.Well thats kinda so back on topic go on California Screamin' You can do it.

You can do it! Six Flags rollercoasters are so much scarier! I've never been to DL or Cali, but from the looks of the rollercoaster, it looks really fun. There's nothingn to be afraid of!

Nupe. The loop used to scare me too, but now I think it's really fun! You don't feel like you are going to fall out of your seat or anything like on Tower of Terror, it's very secured. The drops aren't bad at all, Splash Mountain's drops are worse IMO. The only thing that's really scary is the launch part where you go up the drop really fast, but even then it's just fun. This ride I thought was a lot less scary than the Sun Wheel, but I have a fear of heights. Have fun on your trip!

No kidding. I can relate to that. The Sun Wheel is basically the only ride I can think of that truly scares me.

A word to the wise: if you're afraid of heights and you ride the Sun Wheel, don't turn around when your side of the gondola is tilted backwards.
