Thanks for posting the info AND I was able to see the Space Shuttle landing on the myfoxla live feed video.

I saw it too! Plus, I felt the sonic boom like an earthquake had hit my building. I was sitting here by the window, working on the computer, and I had Fox on in the background before I switched over to Fox Overtime, and all of a sudden a loud THUD and RATTLE on my window, which, needless to say, scared the **** out of me! I hate earthquakes, so I always get nervous and jump up, but then I connected the dots and realized the shuttle was landing in California instead of Florida today.

Anyway, I still notice that on Fox Overtime, when they announce the trivia question and explain about the Disneyland Resort prize, they just say to go to the website, but it is not that easy. Unless the MyFoxLA site has changed (I just saved the DLR contest page in My Favorites so that is how I get to it to save time), the last time I checked, it was not that easy to find the contest info form the mian page. You had to search for it. They don't seem to really be heavily advertising the DLR contest, for some reason. So I wonder how many people (besides us!) are entering!

Anyway, after this week's winner is notified on Wednesday or Thursday, we have one more week with a question and then that is it They could have at least started this contest a week earlier so it ran for a full month. I still don't know who can find the darn info on the site without knowing exactly where to look. They don't make it easy!

I know! I don't know a single thing about Superbowl trivia! Ask any of us here some DLR trivia and maybe we wouldn't have to look up the answer on the Web. But sports, forget about it. I am a lost cause. Thank the heavens for Google and Yahoo and all that good stuff!!!

I think I changed it from SoCal to California a week ago yesterday, on the 23rd, as soon I saw the fine print and realized it didn't specify SoCal!

The last time I looked on the MyFoxLA home page, I didn't see anything that mentioned Disneyland or win a Disneyland trip or anything. I had to hunt around. I had to pick a section where I thought it might be and then I had to type in the name Rick Garcia (that is who we are outfoxing), and finally I found it. So between the fact that I am not sure how many folks will find the contest page on that site, as well as the fact that I don't know how many people are watching Fox Overtime to hear about the contest, I bet not too many people are entering. They don't even promote it heavily on Good Day L.A. Just a random mention here and there. Some contests are very well publicized. It almost seems as though they are downplaying it so that they don't get overwhelmed with responses! I didn't tell anyone on the 'other' Disney message boards about it - only you guys! (Then again, I am never over on those boards, clearly, since I am always here!) I figure, we don't need to decrease our odds of winning that much! So hopefully we can have another winner from DISboards! We should find out in a couple of days!

Well, that didn't stop my mind from still seeing SoCal! Actually, I hadn't even noticed you changed it until I decided to take a gander at the thread. Ahhh...reading is overrated! Just kidding, everyone!

It is a good little contest, and even though most of us who have entered know nothing about sports trivia, it hasn't been too difficult to answer the questions because of the Internet! If they started asking us for detailed stats and specific in-depth football stuff that we have to guess the answer sto, that may eliminate a bunch of us!

Well, they seem to be keeping it very low key. I didn't hear any announcements of Pooh'sTwin's name as being the winner of last week's question on Fox Overtime yesterday. So the only way to find out is by mail, it seems. They don't even call the people. Pooh'sTwin got his notification that he won last week on Wednesday, though he didn't check his mail until Thursday. Fox draws the winner's name on Monday - so today, they picked a new one - then they mail out the notification on Tuesday, and then it is up to the good ol' Post Office after that. I would imagine people closer to my area or more SoCal would get the letter in the mail on Wednesday or Thurs. at the latest, and if someone wins from your area, Jasmine, or further north, I would guess the letter wouldn't arrive until Thursday or Friday. But Fox and Good Day L.A. and Fox Overtime don't post the winners' names anywhere, to my knowledge, so the only way we can tell we didn't win is if we don't get any Fox envelope in the mail by the end of the week!!

That is why I hope whoever wins Round 2 - assuming it is a DISboard member - lets us know right away, so we can all give up hope until next Sunday!!!

Ain't that the truth!! It would not be more appreciated or better used than it would be by someone here on DISboards! I am not even sure that the hardcore football guys watching the Fox Overtime show would want the DLR trip if they knew the answer without looking it up on the Internet! I could be wrong, but I usually don't equate massive Superbowl fanatics with massive DLR fans, but who knows??
