CG is most definitely my favorite restaurant in the World, but we did have two not so pleasant experiences there and both were Sundays after 9pm! The food was cold and really not it's normal self. The sushi was a bit "fishy" and some of the meats were very "gamey".
I have heard that restaurants sometimes don't have the same crew on Sunday nights or at specific times and I'm hoping that's what happened to us. I agree with everyone that you should definitely shoot for the sunset too. Nothing compares to a beautiful sunset at CG. On our trip in June we actually sat down as the sun was setting, took our time eating and got to watch the fireworks as well. Depending on the time of the sunset and fireworks you may be able to do this as well. Have an awesome time!!
