California Grill vs. Narcoossee's

Can someone please exlapin what/where the wine room is?

California Grill. Better atmosphere, better view of the fireworks, better food.

Yes, it can be noisy, but that's not a factor for me. In fact, I like the "hustle and bustle".

I do like Narcoossee, but if I could go to only one, I'd take CG.

We've eaten at both and both are excellent. DH loves Narcoossee's--he got the whole Maine Lobster and has been raving about it ever since. The desserts were works of art there. You get a beautiful view of the lake there too. And it is a little more intimate.

I think that I liked the California Grill better, not because the food is better than Narcoossee's but the view was spectacular. We also went out on the roof for the Wishes fireworks. It was such a special time. Our server was very nice as well.

I don't think that you can go wrong with either one. Each has its own special charm. I'd look at the menus and decide from there.

We just got back from a trip and had the best steak at Citricos. Plus their desserts are a work of art again.

It is a smaller room WAAAAY over to the left. The only thing you can really see from there is Bay Lake Tower.

We were seated in there last year. It was OK, but there was a HUGE party in there with us and they were super loud. Their server actually kept "shushing" them.

This question gets thrown around the Boards a lot. I recommend searching for the topic through the search feature. I've been to both restaurants, and love them both- I know it's hard!

OK... so, Cali Grill is AMAZING for the fireworks. The fireworks are sooo good in this restaurant- I mean, you are on the top floor of the Contemporary, how could it not be good? Narcoosee's also has a great view of the fireworks, but it's a different angle, as you're lower on the water. Also, you have a better chance of getting a good window table with a view at CG than you do at Narcoosee's. Both restaurants pipe in the music and do a fantastic job at timing your entrees or desserts with the fireworks. A plus at Narcoosee's is that you can see the electrical water parade. That's also great fun.

The food... check out the menus on line. Both have fantastic food and wait staff. Narcoosee's has a cool yacht club atmosphere- it'd fit in well at Disney's Yacht Club Resort. CG is more modern- it reminds me of a lot of the restaurants that are popping up these days. I love the food at both. Narcoosee's obviously has more seafood options, but CG has great sushi options. Their flatbreads are also fantastic.

It's hard... I'd definitely go to both for sure. If not both in your next trip, definitely in the near future!

We love Narcoossee's and we are going to try CG in Dec. We also love Citricos, Jiko and Flying fish.
