Just back and had an excellent dinner at the California Grill. It was the best meal of the trip and certainly worth the 2 ts credits. Our seating was for 9.20, wishes was scheduled for 10pm. We were 5 mins late for our ADR and drove to the contemporary. Immediately we were taken up to the 15th floor. Service was attentive from the start. Since this was a special meal we dresseds up. I wore a cocktail dress and daughters dresses and DH and son smart top and jeans. We were shown in to the wine room where we were seated next to a window just through the door. The server told us what time wishes started and that we could go out to the observation deck to watch. We order and were served promptly. For starter, I had the Lobster salad with a citrus flavored vinagraitte. It was absolutely delicious and bursting with flavor, but it did not overpower the lobster. DDs had watermelon salad and BLT flatbread which were both excellent DH & DS had cheese flatbread which was good. I had a glass of white wine - cant remeber which one. After we finished our starters, Wishes was about to begin and the server came and said he would hold the main courses until after Wishes. We went out to the observation deck to watch Wishes. It was magical. We also saw the electrical water pageant. As we returnd to our table our server commenced bringing out our main course. I think we all got the beef filet which was heavenly, and perfectly cooked and seasoned with a delicious sauce. Dessert was mainly the Valhrona chocolate cake with coffee Ice cream. This was delicious, but I would have preferred a vanilla ice cream than coffe as I felt it too rich, even so I still enjoyed it and stole a scoop of DHs plain icecream from his sundae he ordered. This was my favorite restaurant and it had a very upscale feel, without being snotty. I would rate it 10/10.
