DF and I have reservations at the California Grill on the last night of our honeymoon! Also, that night Magic Kingdom is open until 1:00am. Our dinner reservations are at 7:30, and the firework aren't until 10:00. Should I try to change this to a later time?? Also, I really want to go to MK after dinner, but I don't think we'll have time to go back to our hotel (Beach Club) to change. How dressed up to you have to be for CG? Could we wear something semi-casual? Or should we just bring a change of clothes? Or just go to MK dressed up? Or do you think I'll have time to get back to the Beach Club, change, and then get to MK with enough time to ride some favorite rides for the last time? WWYD?

You can use your receipt to go back up to the restaurant and see the fireworks from the observation deck.

If you want a chance at seeing them from your table, you should probably have a later reservation.

If you're going back to MK after dinner, in my opinion Wishes is best observed from within the park.

WOW ! How about this... don't try to do everything or you won't enjoy anything. Keep you dinner reservation (you'll love it !). As far as the "dress code" for dinner, you will be shocked at what some people consider "casual dining". As long as you aren't wearing shorts, halters, t-shirts or flip-flops, you should be fine. Enjoy dinner, take the monorail to the park (see if you can get up in front with the "driver" - it really is neat !) and enjoy the rest of your evening, in the park, with the fireworks ! Congratulations & Enjoy !

IF you have appetizers, drinks, etc--and if you are seated anywhere near on time--dinner at CG can take an hour and a half. You probably won't be through dinner until around 9. As far as what to wear--the only prohibited items are swimwear and swim wear cover-ups, torn clothes, tank tops on men, t-shirts with offensive wording or graphics. Anything else is just fine, including shorts, jeans, t-shirts, sandals and tennis shoes.
The upper limit of dressing up would be a polo shirt and slacks. Don't even THINK about wearing a dress or a jacket.
