My husband & I will be going to the CG for a belated Ann. dinner.

My mother (who is coming with us to WDW) will be watching DS so we can have a nice quiet adult dinner.

I was wondering I heard about the "wine room" is that a quieter place to dine in CG? Although we don't have a problem with kids (we have our own) we would like to eat in a somewhat romatic setting ;)

Thanks

We find the "wine room" to be much quieter. It has a beautiful view, too, although you can't see the MK fireworks from that room. My DH always asks for it these days. When you step out of that room and back into the main dining room, you won't believe the difference in volume.

do you request the wine room on your ps or just tell them when you arrive.

Does it matter that you dont drink any wine to eat in the wine room?

Yep, we just request it when we get there. There are not many tables in there so I imagine it would be hard to manage if requesting ahead was allowed.

Agree-just ask for it when you arrive. I don't drink wine either, and that's not a problem.
In fact, I'm not even sure CG itself calls it the 'Wine Room"--as such. Might have been one of our Disney Board members who coined the phrase, since the room does have wine bottles on display.
Anyway--it is a lot more quiet than the main area.

Thank you everyone.
Sounds like the "wine room' is what we are looking for.
