California Grill question

Hey everyone I have a quick question we are going to be in Disney this coming year July 1-4. I know there are special fireworks on the 3rd and 4th just wondering if we can snag a adr for California grill anytime on the 3rd can we still use the observation deck or do they limit access for select dates? Thanks we are thinking about avoiding MK that day but would like to see the fireworks as this is our first 4th of July trip.

I have no idea about the special fireworks on the 3rd and 4th, but on normal days your ADR cant be "anytime" on that day. Its usually if you have a "dinner" reservation, i.e. something after 5. Im sure someone here has more specific info.

The receipt from your meal is effectively your ticket to attend the fireworks - on the same day as your receipt.

If your scheduled meal reservation is later than the fireworks, at the 'discretion of the podium', you MAY be allowed upstairs to view the fireworks from the CA Grill observation deck prior to having a receipt from dinner.

I doubt they will allow it if you're not dining there that specific day. Since you've never been on July 4th before, it's going to be extremely crowded and the fireworks the day of the 4th will be VERY popular - everyone else is also going to be trying to get those fireworks views, too.

Ya going to shoot for the 3rd instead of the 4th and dining/viewing same day not different days
