We want to try 1 new signature restaurant this trip (we're already doing Yachtsman for my DH birthday - his favorite restaurant). I've made ADR's for different nights at Cali Grill, Narcossees and Jiko but haven't decided which one to choose (we also have DS10 joining us). We've seen Wishes from the Contemporary balconies and from the Poly beaches so that's not a requirement (just a nice perk). Any opinions? :flower3:

I think the best food of the 3 is at Jiko. Cali Grill is a close second to that though.

Narcoossee's was just ok for me. Didn't live up the same standard as the other signatures for me.

Personally I've always been thrilled by California Grill. The fireworks aren't all that from the viewing deck, but there's still something exciting about travelling to the top of the Contemporary like eating at CG is an event to be savoured.

Service always first class. And the food, oh the food. Flatbreads and sushi, my mouth is watering as I type.

Jiko was excellent, and would highly recommend it too.

Can't rate Narcoosees as I haven't been.

I would choose Jiko out of those 3. We had a pretty awful lobster at Narcoossees last trip (altho we did have a good meal there a few years ago)
We used to love CG, but it seems to have slipped a little the last couple times we were there. DH hates the chaos at CG too - it can get pretty loud up there. Jiko has been consistently delicious for us.

Really, you can't go wrong with any of them. I'm sure we just hit an off night at Narcoossees. It's just such an expensive off night that we are reluctant to give it another go. I would just go wherever the menu looks most enticing to your family.

The only one I've been to out of the 3 is Narcoossee's, and I would choose Jiko if given the choice. Looks the most appealing to me out of the options.

Jiko is my favorite place at WDW, but Cal Grill is also very good. You can't go wrong with either of those. Never been to Narcoossee's (but am going in October!), so I can't offer an opinion on that.

I have been to all three of these restaurants, and this is my ranking of them based on my experiences:

1. Jiko
2. CG
3. Narcoossees

I have been to Jiko and CG multiple times, and Narcoossees just once. I have had just fabulous dining experiences at both Jiko and CG, and feel they are almost tied. I give the nod to Jiko because I think the food is more inventive.

I would rank them

1. Jiko
2. CG
3. Narcoosees

CG isn't a "wow" for me but I do enjoy the sushi. I think it's a much nicer place to dine AFTER the fireworks when the crowd levels and noise are reduced significantly.

Narcoosees has been a great disappointment on our last 2 visits there.

Thanks for posting this chrismom3! We are headed down to disney for the F&W fest this Oct and have one night to eat at a signature rest and are trying to decide between Jiko and Narcoossees.

I haven't been to Narcoosee's but we are trying it on our trip next month.

Between the other two I'd choose Jiko hands down. CG was just ok (maybe it's bc I'm from CA and don't think they captured what we are all about) and as a PP mentioned it is very chaotic. If you want an experience you are unlikely to find anywhere else, go for Jiko.

Good Luck!

Narcoossee's is dead last, for sure.
Jiko is a better restaurant than CG, but CG does have excellent flatbreads (along with Anchor Steam beer) both of which are draws for me.
