Cali Grill Brunch w/a vegan

I have seen so many great reviews of the Cali Grill brunch and we're staying at the Contemporary in August so I'm dying to try it. However my teen is a vegan so I'm wondering if anyone has done this meal with a vegan. I'm guessing that they could make her some vegan sushi, maybe a tofu scramble for her main course and worst case might be enjoy life packaged items for dessert.

Thanks for the great info, this review makes me want to go even more because it looks like a great experience.

We have a free dining bounceback offer for this year, so I'm not worried about the cost. I would guess that all meals using the DDP are probably a waste of money for vegans and you would be better off paying OOP. My teen loves vegetable sushi and I saw peas and carrots review where they made her special gluten free sushi so I'm hoping that CG would be willing to make her special vegan sushi.

Most buffets probably are, but I just tell myself I'm paying for the experience. The dining plan helps with the sting of the cost too.

Given that you seem OK with the cost of the brunch, and that you want something special - have you considered Victoria & Albert's?

Their tasting menus include a vegetarian option. I am sure they can make a vegan meal as well.
