My 4yo is crying, I ask him what is wrong. It seems his sister has decided to help him keep unwanted guests out of his room. (she has been into making "keep out" signs for her door) Well, she made him a keep out sign, he was so excited. I just asked him to go down and clean up his room, well, he started crying. It seems he can't go in his room. His sister made the sign with a boy on it, so he is a boy, he can't go in his own room!

I told her to go down and make it a girl, she freaked because she is a girl, and does not want to be banned from his room, so now I am trying to get her to understand why these signs are not good, they should not exclude anyone. OY

Good Luck! Why don't you just take the signs down and say OK that's enough. No more signs! Game over! It's worth a try right?
