Cake

We're having a memories collection wedding on luau beach with myself my fiancé and his two daughters. We're having lunch after @ the GF cafe. I'm wanting to order a maxi-mini cake that I saw posted on the cake chatter thread that Carrie had made for her at the contemporary resort,
Will they make this @ the GF? Is my best bet for more than just plain vanilla or chocolate cake to order from the Contemporary? We want a nice wedding cake but just smaller sized cause therrs just 4 of us!!!

Welllll... you can try getting one from the GF, but people have had mixed results with the private dining contact there. Sometimes she moves heaven and earth to customize things for folks, and other times she acts like you're crazy if you want anything other than a screen-printed cake in chocolate or vanilla. Maybe if you explain that you're having a Disney's Fairy Tale Wedding it'll butter her up! Hopefully the idea of a 3-inch cake atop a 5-inch one won't throw her for a loop...

Then, if you're still getting nowhere, reach out to the Contemporary. You get to work directly with the pastry chef instead of a middleman, and they seem to be very accommodating.
