Cake In Castle

HI,,

We are going to have a DINNER in the Castle for a couple that will be celebrating 50 HAPPY years of marriage. ..I was hoping to get a cake from the GF Bakery, and have it delivered to the Castle that night....well they do not deliver ,,,,so any ideas on how to get it there ..... I mean I would have to sneak away,,get on MONORAIL get off at GF get cake and get MONORAIL back to the MK,,and walk it down MAINSTREET.....does anyone know if the CASTLE will keep it there until our LATE dinner? Does anyone know if they box the cakes but good?? Thanks so much for any help or idea in this matter...

Have you seen the cake thread on the restaurant board? It's fabu! They list some ideas about getting a cake from the bakery to your table. Does the cake have to be from the GF? You really dont want to do all that traveling with a cake.

Have you tried talking to the people at CRT? I'm sure they can whip up something amazing. I mean it is Cinderella Castle!

They also might be able to do something at the Main St Bakery. Haven't heard of them doing anything, but it doesn't hurt to check. And since CRT does weddings, they should be able to do something too (good idea ally!)

Call CRT they will give you another number to arrange for cakes in the restaurants. That is what I was told when I asked abut cakes for my daughter's b-day. About $12 is I remember correctly.

Thanks everyone .....I am having one made from the special events planner,,,,they are going to do the names and trim in GOLD for the 50th!!! and it will be at Castle when we get there,,they are even going to make a MICKEY AND MINNIE wedding couple drawing on top......
