Cake delivered to Saratoga Springs ?

I have called the cake hotline twice and followed the instructions to be transfered to the Saratoga cake line and left messages about wanting to do a custom cake for my DS's birthday this Oct. However, I never received any calls from them both times. Do they deliver to room in Saratoga Springs ? Anyone has any experience with making custom cake in Saratoga Springs ? Thanks for your help !

No roomdelivery as far as I know. If you listen to the tape carefully; it will only give you the option of having a cake deliverd to your reservation at the Turf Club. They actually ask for your reservation# for that etc.

Just made the call myself this week and listened to that specific option as we're staying at SSR and wanted to know if the roomdelivery was an option.

1) SSR does not have
. . . room service
. . . bakery
. . . food delivery
2) You would have to pick it up at Turf.
3) Give yourself plenty of time.

Well, I guess I'll go with WeGoShop.com and just order a cake from Publix..Cheaper and easier..Publix has some pretty cute cakes too..Seems like ordering from disney cake hotline you could get really nice cakes or really bad cake for high price !!

You can always go to the BW bakery and get a Mickey cake for each person... Make sure you go early if you do this and maybe even call and ask that they put them aside.
The BW bakery can also make a custom cake..

Publix actually makes very nice cakes - and good tasting too. That's where we always got cakes when we lived in Florida. If you haven't, I think you can check out the different styles on their website, in the Bakery section.

Thanks for your suggestion, Anthony1971 ! I don't think we'll have time to go to Broadwalk to get a cake since this is going to be just a very short 3 night trip for DS's birthday. I would prefer to have the cake delivered so we don't have to carry it all over the park with us so I think ordering a cake from Publix and have Wegoshop deliver would work nicely. Thanks vicki_c for your feedback about Publix cakes ! That makes me feel better about getting the cake this way !
