Focus on Disney (auto correct) Santa is set up as an event, similar to afternoon tea. They want a head count 48 hours in advance. No sticker shock cancelations.
I get that. I don’t know the cancellation policy at V & A, but Monsieur Paul is $195 a person, also limited capacity. They have a 72 hour, $100 per person penalty cancellation policy. The entrees at CBS are chicken, beef & pasta, nothing that they don’t have in the restaurant already or that needs to be ordered weeks ahead. So you make that reservation for 6 weeks from now, your kid gets measles in 5 weeks ( yes, in 2025 it can happen). Everything else on you vacation can be cancelled/ changed/ refunded. But you lose hundreds to thousand dollars at CBS.
Please don’t think I don’t like CBS. We’ve been there on our last 3 trips. My husband, usually a fillet mignon eater, loves their strip steak/ frittes entree. I just refuse to book anything weeks in advance that costs several hundred dollars each & is totally nonrefundable. I can’t imagine doing it if I was traveling with kids.
