We are packing our van to leave on Friday for the FW cabins. Would it be a good idea to bring a fan, if we have room? I know the cabins have A/C but didn't know if it might be helpful for when we want to open windows or for the grill area------or is it too hot to even consider that this time of year? I don't want to waste space if it isn't needed, but I also don't want to get there and wish we'd brought it!
Thanks,
Marcia

You won't need a fan! It's hot and humid. I've been checking and highs have been in the 90's and only down to the mid 70's at night. The air in the cabins is great. We never opened the windows, except just after a thunderstorm and then only for a little bit. We leave friday too. But we don't check in till sunday. DH likes to take his time. :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

We always take a fan for outside the camper. It will be too hot to open windows but I like to have a fan for outside when we are grilling or just having an early morning coffee. The fan also helps if the bugs are bothersome. So if you plan on spending much time outside on your deck and have room for the fan I would bring one.
