If you are staying in the cabins. How many buses does it take to get the the different places. (MK, Epcot, AK, MGM)?

Thanks,

Sue

It Takes 2 Buses or a Bus and a boat if you want to take the boat to MK fig about 30-40 min travel time.

Generally for the cabins, it's 2 modes of transportation, just like Stillh2o said.

One internal bus--then either an external bus to get you where you're going, or a boat.

We did not find it to be bad at all on our last trip.

We stayed in cabin 2601 the last week in July. I have to say that this was excelent. very close to a bus stop, pool and laundry. The busses ran frequently. We had a golf cart but the bus would have been good enough at that particular location.

I agree with "dopey's wife", we found the bus situation to be just fine, even with having to take 2. Very efficient, never had to wait but a few minutes. Just plan on around an hour from walking out your door till walking into the park of your choice. Probably won't take that long, but you will be covered either way. :)

Is it any quicker or better to rent a car? I'm really stuck on this one. I'd like to save the money and not rent, but if it would save a ton of time, I might be tempted. We will be park hopping and going to Down Town Disney one night. We will go to MK about 3 times and twice to the others. No water parks or anything else.

Thanks

I would save the cash and not get a rental car. The only reason to have a car would be if you are a very impatient person, otherwise save the cash and roll with the flow and have a great trip!

To us, it was very valuable to rent a car. However, we rented a minivan and split the cost with my in-laws so I wasn't spending as much as I would have on our own. I would probably rent a car if I had strollers/young wiggly children - if it were just adults or older kids I'd probably save the money and use the busses. I really hate riding the busses with strollers, and toddlers don't do well at waiting at bus stops. Have fun! :sunny:
