We just booked our first cruise for Feb 19 and were assigned this cabin, 6106. I was wondering if anyone has been in or near to it and if there is anything I should know as far as moving or not. We are a family of four my DS are 12 and 10. My 12 year old is 6ft tall and 175 lbs how will we be as far as sleeping arrangements? Thanks

Looks like a reasonable location - port side near the aft elevator lobby (which make it easier to get to topsiders and other things on deck 9 aft).

We were in 6034 this last cruise and except for the occasional noise from kids on deck 7 wearing cement blocks for shoes and running up and down the hall, there wasn't much noise.

I've slept on the couch, and at 5'10" it was ok. The bunk has a weight limit of 220 lbs, so your teen will be ok for that option as well - I'd have him try both options when your room is prepared for the evening and see which one he likes best.

Thank you for the quick response. How exactly are the beds arranged- 2 twins, 1 queen, pullout sofa, murphy bed???????? How are they all arranged

You have 2 double beds that are configured either together, or seperately.

There's a couch which changes into a bed; there's a pull-down (from the ceiling) bunk bed over the couch.

In rooms for 5 people, there's an additional murphy type bed between the couch and veranda.

I think DCL has some floor plans for rooms on their web site, if you want to get a better idea of the layout.

Hello roelongo- We just booked a 7 day cruise in Jan. 17th, 04 and we were given stateroom 6106. Since I'll be going 1 month before you, I'll post how I found the room (location, noise, bad odors, etc.) btw- greetings from a fellow long islander.
