HI all,

I just found out my cabin number for my Jan cruise...has anyone ever stayed in this cabin? or have any information on it? noisy? too far from elevators? traveling with a 1 1/2 year old, so noise would be a problem since he is a light sleeper.

Thanks for you expertise & help :)

In our 9 cruises, we've been on decks 2,5,and 6. I really think that there are not "noisy" cabins, there are noisy or quiet neighbors. We've never had a problem with noise caused by Disney, although we have encountered rude hall mates.

As to your baby sleeping, you could take along a "white noise" machine, which would hopefully mask any hall noises. Since babies sleep at all hours of the day and night, you must expect that there may be some noise during nap times.

I can find good and bad about almost any cabin location...and I've come to decide that there isn't a really bad place on the ship. The advantage of deck 2 is that the lower and more centered your cabin is, the less noticible the rock of the ship is. Also, we discovered the library, which probably wouldn't have happened had we been on an upper deck.

We stayed in that cabin on our 2001 cruise and really liked it. The only time we heard noise was on the days we docked but it didn't bother the kids just DH and myself but it really wasn't a bother just made sure we were awake to go ashore on time. It's not really a problem being far from the elevators or in going where you want to go. The room stewart was just great, just can't think of his name right now. Hope you have a great cruise, can't wait until June for our next one.

:) Thanks everyone! Just got a little nervous when I realized it was located all the way forward the very last room down the hall:eek: :p

We stayed in 2510 with 2 very young, light sleepers and only noticed some type of engine noise when we were docking. It actually scared me, but the kids slept right through it. It was a low rumble sound. I actually thought we had bottomed out and was convinced we were sinking. However, my hubby calmed me down and we went back to bed.

The room location is perfect as far as I'm concerned. You certainly won't have to worry about kids running laps in the halls at night.

Have a great cruise.
