Cabana at blizzard beach

Coming to blizzard beach on a weekday in April. We will arrive mid day. We really want to guarantee a seating in the shadow, do we have to purchase cabana / chair or is it likely to have shadowed seating available mid day? Thanks!

Typically You will for sure find shaded seating no matter what time of day you go but you will be very far off the beaten path as all the “good” seats are taken right away

At blizzard beach they aren't actual cabanas they are a big umbrella on a wooden deck they call them a "polar patio"
We rented one around 8 years ago before they got so absurdly expensive, it was great for shade, we had a baby at the time so wanted to ensure we got what we needed.
However, we went back a few years later when we couldn't afford the paid extra anymore and found there was plenty of loungers in the shade for free, so don't stress, but the "good" spots that some people prefer closer to certain attractions will of course go early.
