Hello! 1st time on DCL so therefore 1st time to CC. I have a few questions about cabana #20 and renting a cabana in general. I'd appreciate only positive reasons to rent a cabana as I already know many possible reasons for not renting a cabana :-) TYIA!!!!

A quick "glimpse" of who we are ... It's me, DH, and our DS 11 ... Cruising in June and we will have been at WDW Mon - Thurs before our 3 night cruise (cruising Fri - Mon) We are from Colorado and love the beach as we don't get beach time here!

Does anyone have experience with cabana #20? Wondering about it's location... (we don't mind walking as we prefer to walk rather than taking transportation.) How many cabanas are there on the family beach? Will we be "on top" of our cabana neighbors? Basically, we will hear their every word? As I have zero background knowledge of CC, why do you think it's worth the money to rent a cabana? We are not doing any other "frills" or excursions.

I think that's it for now! :-) THANK YOU again for your insight!!!

Here's a picture we took of the cabanas, they aren't "on top" of each other, but you certainly can hear others playing/talking:

Number 20 would be the last one before the double-sized one, I believe. It's pretty much the one that furthest from the restrooms and food. The last price I have for the "regular" cabanas was $590.18. This is good for up to 6 people.

20 is a new cabana and is the same as any other but the landscaping is not as filled in as the older cabanas. Don't worry about the distance as they have a golf cart that will run you down to near cabana 1 if you need to get food, go to the restroom or just want to partake in public beach activities.

My feeling is that any cabana is better than no cabana

WOW!!! Thank You!!! The picture is a HUGE help!!! We don't mind being the farthest away but now I am curious about the "double cabana" ... I thought I read that you can't book it online so I'm wondering if someone has booked it and if so, then we'd have 16 people sharing that last bit of beach with us??? As crazy as it sounds, that area which is supposed to be "secluded" might be more crowded and crazier than the regular part of CC ... Hmmmm .... Any more information or advice would be greatly appreciated!!! THANK YOU again!!! Cheers!

Hi!!! Thanks for the information!!! Question... Given your experience, do you think that space of beach where cabana 20 is located would get crazy crowded given that cabana 21 can hold 16 people?? I'm worried that I'm paying for "seclusion" but then the last set of cabanas are crammed into such a small space of beach?? or is that an optical illusion in the picture??

All I can say about the last cabana is that it's generally held back for celebrations (weddings, etc) or large groups. The minimum number there is 10. Well, the minimum that you pay for it is good for up to 10 people ($966.43) but up to 6 additional can be added. I've read that, when no one actually needs that large a cabana, onboard they will reserve it for a "regular" sized group.

There were 12 in it when we were there a couple of weeks ago but it didn't feel crowded at all. We were in 16 and there were 8 of us.
