We have a dinner reservation and are thinking about taking a cab to get there. Should we call the cab ahead of time for it be at CSR when we need it? If so, how far in advance?

CSR always has cabs waiting outside. We usually leave around 40 minutes before our meal. That gives time in case we run into a bit of traffic, plus I like looking around the resorts.:goodvibes

There are always cabs lingering around waiting to be hailed. It shouldn't be a problem at all.

Do it all the time. Never had a problem. Best way to travel resort to resort in my opinion.

Thanks so much, guys! hoping for this option since our flight lands around 5pm and we have reservations at 8:15 at 'Ohana. I know, I know, the horror, but willing to take the risk at this point. Only a $20 loss if we don't make it, but I'd be more sad about missing the dinner than the $20:lmao: Please send lots of pixie dust our flight is on time!

The only time I think you'd want to call head and have a cab reserved is if you need a special cab (e.g., handicap accessible). Those aren't as common in the taxi queues in front of the resorts. Otherwise, I've never had a problem getting a taxi quickly.
